The Sanmenxia environmental protection bureau vowed to improve its work efficiency to better serve the city's social and economic development.
In terms of the eco-environmental characteristics in different zones, the bureau carried out differentiated environment-access policies and delegated environmental examination and approval powers to local authorities to increase approval efficiency. Moreover, the bureau continued to enhance its service capabilities and strengthened supervision and guidance for environmental protection departments in all counties and districts by improving management systems.
The bureau also released some basic information to the public regarding environmental quality, administrative permission and punishment, and the collection and use of pollutant discharge fees.
Additionally, the bureau vowed to streamline government review processes through five specific measures, including reducing time needed for government review, cutting overall time for project approval, shifting working mechanisms, simplifying administrative examination and approval procedures, and accelerating the issuance of environmental impact assessment documents for key municipal and provincial projects.
