Henan Jinsui Flour Industry Co Ltd will build an 84.8-mu (5.7-hectare) grain logistics park in Fangcheng county, Nanyang.
With an investment of 236 million yuan ($34.6 million), it will be largest park of its kind in south-west Henan.
The complex will encompass a wheat production line, six noodle production lines,10 steamed bun production lines, a quick-frozen food production line, eight wheat warehouses and a vertical silo cluster.
The noodle and steamed bun workshops, along with eight modern warehouses, cost 35 million yuan and are now in use. Construction of the flour-making building, finished product warehouses and machinery remains in progress.
Upon completion, the logistics park will focus on the deep processing of wheat and the industrialization of staple foods. Products will be sold to Hubei, Shaanxi and other neighboring provinces. It is expected to achieve an output value of 920 million yuan and provide 500 jobs to the local community.
