9月17日，天刚麻麻亮，黑虎庙小学校长张玉滚和妻子张会云就悄然起身，简单洗漱后，蹑手蹑脚地下楼，走到前院厨房，开始为孩子们生火做饭。张会云淘米下锅，张玉滚负责烧火，炉膛里的火苗呼呼地往外蹿，把张玉滚的脸膛照得红扑扑的。

早饭过后，短暂的休息时间也是准备上课的时间，记者在校园内见到了4名朝气蓬勃的年轻教师。张玉滚介绍说，这些老师都是在镇平县教育局的安排下，按照城市学校的师生比例特别“加强”到黑虎庙小学的，这样一来终于解决了困扰他多年的师资短缺问题，也给黑虎庙小学带来了勃勃生机。吴筱玲老师说，在上周全体教师会上，已经在黑虎庙工作了近10年的张磊老师声情并茂朗诵了《河南日报》刊发的有关李芳老师的文章，大家都流下了感动的泪水。
