Nanyang Companies Shine at Innovation & Entrepreneurship Contest

Three Nanyang companies that stood out from nearly 100 peers at the Henan division of the 7th China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition will represent Henan province in the national finals.

The three companies are Henan Zhongke Anyprint Technology Co Ltd, Henan Nanshang Nongke Co Ltd, and Xixia Senlinjia Food Co Ltd. The three companies will receive a subsidy of 50,000 yuan ($7,273) to 500,000 yuan from the provincial government, along with Henan's 31 other representatives in the national finals.

Founded in 2012, the China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition is the highest level and most influential such contest in the country. It is aimed at encouraging mass entrepreneurship, and promoting innovation among medium, small and micro-sized companies.

Co-sponsors of the competition include the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, the Cyberspace Administration of China, and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.

A total of 89 local companies participated in the Nanyang division of the competition, 14 of which made it to the provincial stage, following preliminaries, semi-finals and finals.
