Riverside Park Opens in Nanyang

The opening ceremony of Wanyun Park was held by Nanyang urban management bureau on Oct 26.

Part of a comprehensive Wenliang River treatment project, the parkcovers an area of 5,000 square meters with a central plaza of 2,200 square meters. More than 200 trees are planted in the park, including camphor trees, osmanthus trees and gingko trees, and the park will soon build an embossed cultural landscape wall to show the development of transport in China.

Xing Xinping, director of the local river administration, said that officials will maintain a well-ordered environment and high-quality services to make the park a good place for citizens to enjoy.

Wanyun Park is named after Nanyang Wanyun Group, the largest transportation enterprise in Nanyang and a well-known company in Henan province.
