The crabapple trees on Taishan Mountain are in their prime for blossoms in May, carpeting green hills and slopes with pink clusters.

The flowers have attracted flocks of tourists to the mountain. Temperatures vary in the low and high areas of the mountain, thus tourists can enjoy rich colors from different stages of the crabapple flower life cycle, including a stage which presents white at the lower part and florescent pink clusters at the top of the mountain.
