Last year, the First China (Henan) Talent Recruitment & Project Matchmaking Event for Innovation and Development was successfully held, which attracted many global elates and provided a strong talent support for high-quality development of Henan province. This year, the Second China (Henan) Talent Recruitment & Project Matchmaking Event for Innovation and Development (the Second Talent Event) has been launched as scheduled to continue to attract talents from all over the world.

去年，首届中国·河南招才引智创新发展大会成功举办，天下英才聚中原，为河南省高质量发展注入了强劲的人才动力。今年，第二届中国·河南招才引智创新发展大会如约开启，开放的中原继续热情邀约天下英才。

To express its sincerity and enthusiasm for seeking talents, the Second Talent Event has made positive innovations on the basis of the successful experience of the first time. For example, apart from the main activity held at Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, 6 special activities were also held in Shanghai, Changchun, Wuhan, Beijing, Xi’an and Guangzhou with thousands of positions and projects provided by enterprises and institutions of Henan province.

为了表达足够的求贤诚意和请才热情，第二届大会在首届成功举办的基础上有了积极创新：除了在郑州国际会展中心举办主场活动，还组织省内企事业单位携十几万个岗位、几千个项目分别赴上海、长春、武汉、北京、西安、广州举办了6场“走出去”省外专场活动。

On November 23, the last special activity came to an end in Guangzhou, marking the successful conclusion of all offline activities of the Second Talent Event.

11月23日，第二届中国·河南招才引智创新发展大会最后一场“走出去”专场活动在广州成功落幕，也标志着本届招才引智大会所有线下活动画上圆满句号。

From October 15 to November 23, about 180 thousand positions were provided by 15 thousand enterprises and institutions of Henan province and over 3 million people were attracted via the official website of the Second Talent Event. Besides, 110 thousand people participated in the activities and 3,158 PhD talents reached employment agreement with the employers.

从10月15日到11月23日，全省超1.5万家企事业单位拿出约18万个职位邀约贤才，吸引超过300万人通过大会官网关注，11万名人才赴约，3158名博士与河南达成初步约定，成就了一场前所未有的人才盛会。

“The efforts made by local government to attract talents just reflect how prosperous the local economy is.” Feng Zhengyu, deputy Party secretary of Jilin University, observed that Henan, a province with strong economic foundation, benefiting from the multiple national strategies, had created many new opportunities in recent years, and many top talents were willing to witness Henan’s rapid development and spare no effort in making contributions to it.

“政府组织引才的力度，反映了地区经济发展的热度。”吉林大学党委副书记冯正玉说，河南是经济大省，近年来国家战略叠加释放出众多发展新机遇，更多优秀人才也希望能分享河南快速发展红利，发挥所长，建功立业。（记者逯彦萃 编译赵汉青 审校白玉杰）
