With an Investment of 45 Million Yuan, the Construction of Jiahu Site Museum Starts, Covering 6,000 Square Meters

投资4500万舞阳贾湖遗址博物馆开建 建筑面积6000平方米

The construction of Jiahu Site Museum has started, said Jiahu Site Management Committee of Wuyang county, Luohe city on December 27.

12月27日，记者从漯河市舞阳县贾湖遗址管委会了解到，目前贾湖遗址博物馆已正式开工建设。

As a neolithic cultural site with 7,500-9,000 years of history and one of the fifth batch of key cultural relics units under state protection by the State Council, Jiahu site was designated as one of China’s top 100 archaeological discoveries in the 20th century and was listed as a great site of the “13th Five-year Plan”. As a cradle of Chinese civilization, Jiahu site has experienced 8 archaeological excavations and a large number of precious cultural relics were also unearthed here, such as the seven-sound bone flute, carbonized rice, carved signs and turquoise ornaments.

据了解，贾湖遗址是一处距今7500～9000年的新石器早期文化遗存，国务院公布的第五批全国重点文物保护单位，被确定为20世纪全国100项重大考古发现之一，被列为“十三五”大遗址。贾湖遗址历经8次科学考古发掘，出土震惊世界的七音骨笛以及碳化稻米、契刻符号、绿松石装饰物等一大批珍贵文物，是中华文明的重要发源地。

With an investment of 45 million yuan, Jiahu Site Museum covers an area of 50 mu, with a construction area of 6,000 square meters (including the tourist service center),  including exhibition halls, temporary exhibition halls, rest corridors, independent equipment rooms, etc.

开工建设的贾湖遗址博物馆占地50亩，建筑面积6000平方米（含游客服务中心），投资4500万元，主要包括展厅、临时展厅，休息廊道、独立设备用房等建设内容。

After its construction is completed, the museum will better inherit the historical and cultural value of the Jiahu site and will become an important base for patriotism education and social science popularization among the public especially the youth, which is of great significance to give full play to the historical and cultural value of the cultural relics and to study the Chinese history and culture. In addition, the museum will stimulate economic development of a number of related industries and promote sustainable development of the overall culture and economy of Luohe city.

舞阳县贾湖遗址博物馆建成后，能更好地传承贾湖遗址历史文化价值，对发挥文物遗迹历史文化价值，研究中国历史文化有着重要的意义，也将成为广大民众特别是青少年群体爱国主义教育和社科普及的重要基地。同时可以带动一批相关行业经济的发展，促进漯河市整体文化、经济的可持续发展。（记者刘广超姚程 编译赵汉青 审校张玉红）
