China’s First Railway Express to Europe for County-level Agricultural Products Starts Operation

全国首列县级农产品中欧专列正式开行 西峡香菇出国有“专车”啦！

With the sound of a flute, the Sea-rail Combined China-Europe Train for Xixia Shiitake Mushrooms -- China’s first special train exclusive for county-level agricultural products export -- set off from the Freight Yard Station of Nanyang Train Operation Depot at 10:30 am on January 1st. Fully loaded with ¥ 30 million worth of 910 tons of finished shiitake mushroom products in 35 containers, the train was heading for Russia by rail and sea.

1月1日上午10点30分，随着一声长笛响起，我国首列县级专门运输出口农产品的专列——西峡香菇铁海快线（中欧）专列从南阳车务段货场站驶出，它满载35个集装箱、910吨、价值3000万元香菇成品，将通过铁海联运的方式，奔向遥远的俄罗斯。

In recent years, the ever-growing exchanges between China and Europe has motivated increased train frequency and richer cargo types. However, it is initiative in China for China-Europe express being operated by a county to deliver one particular kind of agricultural products benefited from Henan’s first “trackless station” approved to be constructed at the Nanyang Wolong Comprehensive Bonded Zone last October, which can greatly reduce the customs clearance time and transportation costs because export products are allowed to be declared and shipped directly from the Zone.

近几年，随着中欧交往的不断深入，中欧班列的开行频次越来越高，所运输的货物越来越丰富，但以一个县级单位专门组织单一的农产品专列开往欧洲，这在全国还是首创。得益于去年十月份卧龙综保区成功获批河南省首家“无轨车站”，货物可以直接通过综保区报关起运，大大节省了通关时间和运输成本。

Forty-eight hours later, the special train will arrive at Huangdao Railway Station of Qingdao City and plans to leave on January 9th by sea and get to St. Petersburg of Russia after 20 days. The goods carried all the way will reach the destination of Moscow by rail and then be distributed by Shunfeng Fengnong Sci-Tech Company. The whole journey is expected to take 50 days. By then, the Russian consumers can enjoy various tasty shiitake mushroom products made in Xixia.

这趟专列预计48小时后抵达青岛黄岛铁路站，定于本月9日乘船出海，预计29日到达俄罗斯圣彼得堡，再通过铁路运抵目的地莫斯科，然后由顺丰丰农科技公司进行分发，全程预计50天时间，俄罗斯消费者就可以品尝到各种美味的西峡香菇制品了。

“When it gets warmer in March this year, China-Europe cargo will be transported exclusively by rail and the logistics time will be shortened to 15 days by then,” said Sun Duo, head of Henan Yuzhao Company, the organizer of the express freight.

承担专列货运的组织方河南御兆公司负责人孙铎告诉记者，“等到今年3月气温回升后，专列将采取全程铁路运输，只要15天时间就能直达莫斯科”。（记者孟向东 司马连竹 编译赵汉青 审校丁岚）
