On January 14, 116 students from Shaolin Tagou Martial Arts School at Dengfeng city of Henan province rehearsed for 2020 CCTV Spring Festival Gala. This is the 17th presence for the annual CCTV Spring Festival gala.

1月14日，2020年中央广播电视总台春节联欢晚会进行了第一次带观众彩排，来自河南少林塔沟武术学校的116名学员登台亮相，这已经是他们第17次参加央视春晚的演出。

 

In order to bring a new viewing experience to the audiences, the 2020 Spring Festival Gala will sustain the tradition of setting up a main stage in Beijing with multiple sub-venues in other cities of China. The 2020 gala will be broadcast live from the sub-venues in Zhengzhou and the Great Bay Area, in addition to its major venue in Beijing, reported by the organizer of CCTV Spring Festival on January 14.

2020年春节联欢晚会继续采用“北京主会场+各地分会场”的直播模式，突破演播室界限，将春晚舞台的欢声笑语带到观众的身边。14日，央视春晚发布消息，确定在河南郑州、粤港澳大湾区两地设立分会场。

In this joyful and auspicious festival, the 2020 gala endeavors to disseminate the long history, rich culture and splendid achievements of the Chinese nation to the world and share the happiest amongst the whole nation by the way of main stage and sub-venues.

三地共庆，四海同欢。《2020年春节联欢晚会》主会场分会场隔空互动，共同营造喜气洋洋、欢乐吉祥的节日氛围，展现中华民族悠久的历史、灿烂的文化和辉煌的成就。

It is reported that Shaolin Tagou Martial Arts School has been refining its performance skills and innovating its program forms since its debut in the 2003 CCTV Spring Festival Gala. The “Soul of Shaolin”, widely acclaimed after its debut in 2019 gala, set a world record and was designated as the “largest martial arts performance” by World Record Certification Agency.

据了解，河南少林塔沟武术学校自2003年首次登上央视春晚舞台以来，一直在锤炼表演技艺，创新节目形式。2019年的《少林魂》节目播出之后引来广泛赞誉，节目经世界纪录认证机构官方审核，创下了“最大规模的武术节目表演”世界纪录。

As a custom, the rehearsals of 2020 gala with audiences will continue on January 16, 18, 20 and 22, and will be broadcast live on Lunar New Year’s Eve, January 24, 2020.
