Cargo Flights Maintain Normal along the “Aerial Silk Road” amid NCP Outbreak

疫情之下，河南 “空中丝路”货运航班持续不断

Loaded with tons of supplies from Europe, an all-cargo flight operated by Silk Way West Airlines of Azerbaijan steadily landed at No. 34 parking apron of Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport at around 8 o’clock on February 21, which was its second routine flight during the novel coronavirus epidemic.

大河网讯 2月21日上午8时许，阿塞拜疆丝绸之路西部航空公司一架从巴库飞来的全货机平稳降落在郑州新郑国际机场34号货机位，飞机上装了数十吨从欧洲运来的各种物资，这是该公司在疫情期间正常执飞的又一个航班。

Shown in the video sent to Henan Airport Group prior to the flight, Mr. Wolfgang, President of Silk Way West Airlines, remarked that, we witness Zhengzhou becoming one of the world’s largest cargo freight centers, so our relationship with Zhengzhou Airport is getting closer during the NCP outbreak because we believe that the epidemic will soon be brought under control with the joint efforts of the Chinese government and Henan provincial government. Thus, Silk Way West Airlines will not cancel flights during the hard time, but continue to support Zhengzhou Airport and its staff as before to assist its further development as a world-class air freight hub.

在该航班当天起飞前，阿塞拜疆丝绸之路西部航空公司总裁沃夫冈发给河南省机场集团的视频中表示：我们丝绸之路西部航空见证了郑州成为全世界最大的货运中心之一（的历程），所以在这段艰难的防疫时期，我们与郑州机场的关系甚至变得更加紧密，因为我们坚信通过中国政府以及河南省政府的努力，疫情将很快得到控制。所以我们不仅不会在这段困难时期停飞，而且还会继续积极支持郑州机场及其员工，以助推郑州机场继续成长，进一步奠定其世界级航空货运枢纽地位。

Apart from ordinary commodities, the flight also carried about 6 tons of anti-epidemic supplies. Been unloaded, it will be transloaded with more than 60 tons of goods, including mobile phones, solar energy single crystal wafer, machine accessories, Calcium Metaphosphate, etc., and depart from Zhengzhou Airport for European Luxembourg and finally arrive at Frankfurt, Hahn, Milan, Amsterdam, Maastricht, Moscow and other cities.

此次阿塞拜疆丝绸之路西部航空公司的航班承运的物资除了普通货物之外，还有6吨左右的防疫物资。随后，60多吨的货物将在郑州机场转运到这架航班上，这些货物主要有手机、太阳能单晶片、机械配件、偏磷酸钙等，这些货物先从郑州新郑国际机场运到欧洲卢森堡之后再转运至法兰克福、哈恩、米兰、阿姆斯特丹、马斯特里赫特、莫斯科等城市。

As the fourth largest cargo airliner at Zhengzhou Airport, Silk Way Airlines opened its first all-cargo flight route to Zhengzhou in April 2013 and totally conducted 218 flights with 26 thousand tons loaded at Zhengzhou Airport in 2019. During the epidemic, it has not cut off flights but carried the largest goods, of which more than 50 tons are anti-epidemic supplies. Despite the NCP, there are still a few of reputational domestic and international cargo airlines maintaining intercontinental flights like Silk Way West Airlines does.

阿塞拜疆丝路航空于2013年4月开通至郑州的全货机航线，2019年在郑州机场共执行218班，完成货运量2.6万吨，已成为郑州机场运输量第四大货航。在此次疫情防控期间，阿塞拜疆航空不仅没有断航，而且成为郑州机场运输业务量最大的航空公司，其中运输防疫物资达到50余吨以上。自今年疫情防控以来，像阿塞拜疆丝绸之路西部航空公司一样，一直没有中断洲际货运航线飞行的国内外知名货运航空公司还为数不少。

According to the statistics, since the NCP outbreak, Zhengzhou Airport has completed 11 thousand tons of goods with 10 airlines (of which 6 are foreign) running as usual, including 7,011 tons of commodities, 1,200 tons of emergency supplies and 900 tons of Priority Mail Express International transported by all-cargo flights with a year-on-year growth of 9 percent. Taking the advantage of the “Aerial Silk Road”, the cargo imported from Europe, America and Asia, including express mails, electronic products, daily necessities as well as anti-epidemic supplies like protective suits and medical masks, were quickly distributed to Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area, Yangtze River Delta region and severe NCP-stricken areas. All told, Zhengzhou Airport has become a main force in the field of international air freight in Central China and demonstrated its influence on global market.

据统计，自疫情发生以来，郑州机场已完成货邮吞吐量1.1万吨，共有10家境内外货运航空公司在郑正常运营，其中外籍货运航空公司6家，全货机累计运输货物7011吨，保障应急救援物资1200吨、国际快邮件900吨，同比增长9%，货物自欧美亚进口快速分拨至京津冀、长三角以及疫情重灾区，货物品类涵盖快邮件、电子产品、生活用品以及防护服、口罩等防疫物资，发挥了空中丝绸之路的通道优势，成为中部地区连接世界各地永不停歇的国际航空物流主力军，展现了郑州机场在全球航空货运市场的影响力。（记者祝传鹏 编译赵汉青 审校丁岚）
