Henan Donates 50,000 Masks to Turkey in COVID-19 Combat

河南捐赠5万只医用外科口罩助力土耳其亚洛瓦省抗击疫情

　　

On May 14, 50 thousand surgical masks, donated by Henan Provincial People’s Government and Henan Muyuan Group, were aired to Yalova, Henan's sister-province in Turkey, to help fight against the virus.

大河网讯 5月14日，河南省人民政府联合河南牧原集团捐赠的5万只医用外科口罩飞援友好省州土耳其亚洛瓦省，为当地抗击疫情助上一臂之力。

At present, the COVID-19 pandemic is spreading globally. Turkey is experiencing a severe situation as there are nearly 140 thousand confirmed cases. As a close partner of Yalova, Henan shares the same sympathy in times of adversity, and stands ready to provide aid and experience in diagnosis and treatment to overcome difficulties.

当前新冠肺炎疫情在全球快速蔓延，土耳其累计确诊病例接近14万，抗疫形势十分严峻。作为亚洛瓦省亲密的合作伙伴，河南省对此感同身受，愿意与土方交流分享疫情防控经验，提供力所能及的帮助，守望相助，共克时艰。

“A friend in need is a friend indeed”. In our all-out fight against COVID-19, the governor and vice-governor of Yalova wrote to Yin Hong, the governor of Henan, to express their deepest concern and sympathy, “China and Turkey are a close-knit community with a shared future. We will stand firm and fight side by side with the people in Henan.”

“岁寒知松柏，患难见真情”。在河南省抗击疫情关键时期，亚洛瓦省省长穆阿迈尔·埃罗尔、副省长伊尔凡·德米洛斯分别致函慰问，对河南省疫情防控工作进行声援和支持。在写给尹弘省长的信中，穆阿迈尔·埃罗尔省长深情地表示：“中国和土耳其是命运共同体，双方共享一片蓝天，亚洛瓦人民会坚定地同河南人民站在一起！”

　　

In August 2015, Henan and Yalova signed a letter of intent for establishing sister-province relationship. Since then, both sides have enjoyed vibrant people-to-people ties with good and blossoming exchanges and cooperation in various fields. As a “test of humanity”, the pandemic surely will further enhance their friendship and boost the cooperation with each other.

河南省与亚洛瓦省于2015年8月签订了建立友好省际关系意向书，此后双方各领域人员往来密切，保持着良好的交流合作关系。相信经过疫情的考验，河南省同亚洛瓦省的友谊将得到进一步巩固，双方未来交往合作将会迈上新的台阶。（记者 刘杨翻译 赵汉青 审校 丁岚）
