“Two-base” Operation Links China, Japan and ROK

At 10:30 a.m., June 9, a Boeing 737 air freighter from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport arrived at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport and then left for Incheon International Airport in Republic of Korea (ROK). At 2:30 p.m. it took off from Incheon Airport, arrived in Zhengzhou International Airport and at last returned to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. The opening of this air freight route, which links Guangzhou, Zhengzhou and Seoul, shows that Zhongyuan Longhao Airlines, Henan’s first cargo airline based in Zhengzhou, has realized “two-base” operation for its international air freight service.

6月9日10时30分,一架来自广州白云机场的波音737货机在郑州机场降落,随即起飞前往韩国首尔仁川机场;14时30分,从韩国首尔仁川机场起飞,以同样线路返航广州白云机场。当天开通的这条广州至郑州至首尔国际货运航线,标志着河南首家基地货航——中原龙浩航空实现国际航线基地串飞。

The goods transported via this route are mainly from China Express (Hong Kong) Limited, a company controlled by China Post Group Co., Ltd. In the 4-hour outbound international trip, relying on the hub advantages of the two bases in Zhengzhou and Guangzhou, the toys and digital home appliances collected in Guangzhou can be transported to and distributed in Zhengzhou conveniently, and after loading, the electronic devices and non-ferrous metals collected in Zhengzhou can be aired to Seoul via the same flight. As for its inbound trip, the Korean-made clothing, shoes, hats and cosmetics can be carried to and distributed in Zhengzhou, and then the smart terminals and auto tyres collected in Zhengzhou can be shipped to Guangzhou for distribution. “It is very convenient for us to distribute the products made in China, Japan and ROK in Zhengzhou based on the Zhengzhou-Jinan-Osaka-Zhengzhou air route opened before and the Guangzhou-Zhengzhou-Seoul-Zhengzhou-Guangzhou air route launched this time,” said Cai Xinlong, logistics director of China Express (Hong Kong) Limited.

这条航线装卸的货物主要来自中国邮政控股的中国速递(香港)有限公司。4个小时国际航程里,这位“国际邮递员”依托郑州、广州双基地的枢纽优势,将广州集散的玩具、数字家电运往郑州分拨,郑州集散的电子器件、有色金属运往韩国首尔;韩国首尔的服装鞋帽、化妆品运往郑州分拨,郑州集散的智能终端、汽车轮胎运往广州分拨。“中原龙浩之前开通的郑州至济南至大阪国际货运航线,再加上此次开通的广州至郑州至首尔国际货运航线,让我们在郑州便捷分拨中日韩货物。”中国速递(香港)有限公司物流总监蔡新隆说。

In recent years, benefiting from the principle of “air freight and international market first”, Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport’s cargo volume has been climbing year by year and more and more cargo airlines have been embraced such as Cargolux Airlines International, Silk Way West Airlines, Zhongyuan Longhao Airlines, etc.

近年来,我省积极实施“货运为先、国际为先”的发展战略,郑州机场国际地区货运量连年攀升,涌现出了卢森堡货航、阿塞拜疆丝绸之路西部航空公司、中原龙浩航空等一批国际货运航空公司。

 

It is reported that 5 domestic airports in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhengzhou have shouldered 90 percent of China’s air cargo since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, revealing the significant role of all-cargo flights in improving air freight capacity. Taking advantages of the air freight, Henan Civil Aviation Development & Investment Co., Ltd actively links the collection and distribution networks of the “Silk Road in the Air” both at home and abroad and gives a full play to its “two hubs” (Zhengzhou and Luxembourg) and “two bases” (Zhengzhou and Guangzhou) to provide emergency transport service for global enterprises’ work resumption and maintain a stable international industrial chain.
