Special Funds Provided to China-Europe Freight Train (Zhengzhou) for the Construction of National Transportation Hubs

News from Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Co., Ltd on July 6 -- National Development and Reform Commission has allocated 200 million yuan from the central budget to support the construction of transportation hubs in 5 cities, including Zhengzhou, to improve their China-Europe rail freight services. As the only city approved for the construction of the demonstration projects in central and east China, Zhengzhou topped the 5 cities selected according to the comprehensive assessment of the expert panel.

7月6日，大河网记者从郑州国际陆港获悉，国家发展改革委将下达中央预算内投资2亿元，支持郑州等5家城市作为中欧班列枢纽节点城市，开展中欧班列集结中心示范工程建设。5家城市是按专家综合评分高低进行排序，郑州位居第一，也是中东部地区获批建设的唯一中欧班列集结中心。

To support the high-quality development of China-Europe freight trains, the commission said that the special funds had been allocated from this year’s central budget to support relevant cities with favorable geographical location, sound infrastructure system and great development potentials to carry out the demonstration projects in a bid to transform the China-Europe rail freight service from “point to point” to “hub to hub” and speed up the establishment of an efficient collection and distribution system based on the freight hubs and routes.

据介绍，为推动中欧班列高质量发展，国家发改委在2020年中央预算内投资中安排专项资金，支持区位条件优越、设施基础良好、运营规范有潜力的中欧班列枢纽节点城市开展中欧班列集结中心示范工程建设，促进中欧班列开行由“点对点”向“枢纽对枢纽”转变，加快形成“干支结合、枢纽集散”的高效集疏运体系。

By June 30, China-Europe freight train (Zhengzhou) has totally made 3,199 trips since its first launch in 2013. It is scheduled to make 1,100 trips in 2020, and 439 trips have been made in the first half of the year. China-Europe freight train (Zhengzhou) has enhanced its frequencies from 1 time a week to 24 times (including 14 outbound and 10 inbound trips) on the European, ASEAN, central Asian and Russian routes. Among 63 cities with China-Europe rail freight services, Zhengzhou has secured its place in the “first phalanx”. In terms of market and quality, significant indicators for China-Europe rail freight services, China-Europe freight train (Zhengzhou) has always ranked the forefront in China, with a transportation network covering Europe, Russia, central Asia, ASEAN and Asian-Pacific region (Japan, South Korea, etc.) and an international multi-modal transport system featuring “six ports with seven stations”.

中欧班列（郑州）自2013年开行以来，截至2020年6月30日，班列总开行班次3199班，2020年上半年班列开行439班，全年计划完成1100班。中欧班列（郑州）开行频次从最初的每周1班到目前每周去程14班回程10班（包括欧洲线路、东盟线路、中亚线路、郑俄线路）跑出“加速度”，在全国63个中欧班列开行城市中，稳居中欧班列“第一方阵”，市场化运营程度和班列开行质量等作为最重要的班列评价指标，中欧班列（郑州）位居全国中欧班列前列，形成了覆盖欧洲、俄罗斯、中亚、东盟和亚太（日韩等）的物流网络，形成了“六口岸、七站点”，构筑了国际多式联运物流网络枢纽。（中文来源/大河网 记者/祝传鹏 编译/赵汉青 审校/李文竞）
