On the afternoon of July 14, at an online videoconference, Henan and Finland representatives had an in-depth and fruitful negotiation on multi-faceted cooperation in the extended fields of digital economy, clean energy, industrial manufacturing, etc.

数字经济、清洁能源、工业制造......7月14日下午，在河南省—芬兰加强合作对接交流视频会议上，豫芬双方代表通过视频连线的形式围绕多领域合作展开深入交流。

It is reported that, at the time that the globe is being attacked by the COVID-19 pandemic, the “Belt and Road” Initiative functions not only a “road” towards life, but a rare opportunity, which conforms to the historical trend, meets the practical needs and lays huge potential for cooperation. Finland, one of the major nations with strong sci-tech power in the world, is leading the world in digitization, clean tech, energy, bio-economy, etc. While as a populous province with strong manufacturing industry, Henan has distinct advantages and huge potential for developing emerging industries. Therefore, the cooperation of both sides enjoys a solid and complementary foundation.

据介绍，在当前全球受到疫情冲击的大背景下，“一带一路”既是“生命之路”，更是“机遇之路”，顺应历史潮流、符合现实需求、合作潜力巨大。芬兰是世界科技强国，尤其在数字化、清洁技术、能源、生物经济等方面处于世界领先水平。河南作为人口大省和制造业大省，发展新兴产业潜力巨大、优势明显、特色突出。豫芬合作基础坚实、互补性强。

In recent years, investments have been implemented between Henan and Finland prosperously, which extended cooperation fields and fostered a number of typical cooperation projects. Statistics show that the amount of Henan’s imports and exports to Finland totaled more than 91 million euros in 2019, up 31 percent year-on-year.

近年来，河南与芬兰积极开展双向投资，合作领域不断拓展，打造了一批典型合作项目。数据显示，2019年河南对芬兰进出口总额超过9100万欧元，同比增长31%。

At the videoconference, company representatives from both sides exchanged views on digital economy, clean energy, industrial manufacturing, etc. Henan will not only endeavor to create opportunities for bilateral cooperation, but also devote to improve international business environment and create favorable environment in line with the world’s high-level economic and trade law to attract more Finnish enterprises to invest in Henan.
