Henan's Cutting-edge Technologies Supporting China’s First Mars Probe Tianwen-1

河南力量护航“天问一号”

 

At 12:41 pm yesterday (July 23), China’s Tianwen-1, a robotic Mars probe, blasted off on a heavy-lift Long March 5 carrier rocket in Wenchang, South China’s Hainan province. Henan proudly supported its launch and journey to the Mars with advanced technologies.

7月23日12时41分,我国长征五号遥四运载火箭在海南文昌成功发射首次火星探测任务“天问一号”探测器。来自河南的一批“科技力量”,正在为“天问一号”的成功发射和“火星之旅”保驾护航。

Zhengzhou’s contribution

“郑州造”

 

For the rocket’s blasting off and Mars exploration mission, Zhengzhou Aerospace Electronic Technology Co., Ltd (693 plant for short) has designed and produced the adjustment equipment for rocket perpendicularity, cable of rocket engine and signal separation devices, etc.

从此次火箭发射到火星探测,河南航天693厂研制生产的火箭姿态垂直度调整设备、火箭发动机电缆及火星探测器分离信号装置等产品,均发挥着重要作用。

 

Besides, Henan Aerospace Hydraulic Pneumatic Technology Co., Ltd (695 plant for short) undertook the research on and production of more than 18 thousand pieces of highly reliable pipe connections, various types of special pipes, dozens of electromagnets for hydrogen-oxygen rocket engine and numbers of valves for the flexible and inflatable capsule.

在本次发射任务中,河南航天695厂主要承担了长征五号B运载火箭1.8万余件新型高可靠管路连接件、多种型号特种管路,以及数十套氢氧发动机电磁铁和柔性充气式货物返回舱试验舱多项阀门产品的配套研制工作。

 

Moreover, the 27th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation has engaged in the research on high power amplifier for TT&C communication networks, one of the five major systems in the Mars exploration mission.

中国电科27所参与了我国深空测控通信网的建设工作,是此次探测任务五大系统之一测控通信系统的高功放研制单位。

 

Luoyang’s contribution

For the successful launch of the probe Tianwen-1, Liming R&D Institute of Chemical Industry Co., Ltd in Luoyang designed the propellants for the rocket and Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd produced azimuth bearings for antenna equipment.

“天问一号”成功升空的背后,有洛阳科技创新的精准助力。其中,有黎明化工研究设计院有限责任公司研制生产的推进剂,而天线设备的方位轴承均由洛阳轴承研究所有限公司重型轴承事业部开发研制。

 

Xinxiang’s contribution

“新乡造”

 

Along its journey to the Mars, there is a “line” connecting the probe to the earth whose setting up was participated in by the 22th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation in Xinxiang, with independently developed water vapor radiometer providing services like measurement, control and digital transmission for the probe’s accurate positioning.

在飞向火星的漫漫长路上,探测器和地面之间有根“线”,这根“线”的成功搭建就有位于新乡的中国电科22所的参与。该所自主研发的水汽辐射计为“天问一号”提供测控和数传服务,使探测器在茫茫太空可以准确定位、不迷向。

 

Puyang’s contribution

According to Zhang Jianxun, director of Henan Noise Control Technology Engineering Research Center and deputy general manager of Puyang Greencos New Material Technology Co., Ltd, Greencos has received partner offers for the development of China’s first Mars rover since 2016. At length, the performance reliability of its acoustical insulation foam and the professionalism of its team have gained the trust of relevant space research institutes and space equipment manufacturers and ensured the timely accomplishment of every period for producing China’s first Mars rover, including initial sample delivery, process appraisal, preproduction sample delivery, formal assembly, and equipment operation, etc.

河南省噪声控制技术工程研究中心主任、河南能源化工集团濮阳绿宇新材料科技股份有限公司副总经理张建勋介绍,自2016年起,该公司就接到有关单位的合作要求,配合中国首台火星车的研制。最终,绿宇新材提供的吸声隔热泡沫性能的可靠性、应用支持团队的专业性,获得了航天科研单位、航天装备承制单位的信任,保证了中国首台火星车按照节点优质完成初样交付、工艺鉴定、正样交付、正式装配、装备投用等工作。(中文综合自河南日报 编译/赵汉青 审校/丁岚)
