First Low Speed Wind Turbine Rolls off Line at GE’S Production Base in Henan

On August 5, the 1st Low Speed Wind Turbinerolls off line at GE’S Production Base in Asia-Pacific region in Puyang city, Henan Province, making progress towards the goal of strategic cooperation between Henan and GE.

8月5日，美国通用电气在濮阳建设的亚太低风速风电设备生产基地首台机组下线，标志着我省与通用电气开展战略合作迈出坚实步伐。

He Jinping (vice governor of Henan), Xiang Weiming (vice president of GE, president and CEO of GE China), Zhang Yihao (president of GE Healthcare Greater China) and Zhao Lin (general manager of GE Renewable Energy Onshore Wind Greater China) attended the off-line ceremony.

As GE’s sixth in the world and second in China, Puyang Wind Power Production Base commenced the construction of its first phase in last September to produce the onshore wind turbines specifically designed for the unique low speed wind environment in China with an estimated annual output of 200 to 300 units for making electricity by using the everlasting source of clean wind power.

作为通用电气全球第六个、中国第二个陆上风电机组生产基地，濮阳风电生产基地一期项目于去年9月动工，生产专门针对中国特有低风速风况环境设计的陆上风电机组，预计年产量200—300台，将输送出源源不断的绿色动力。

　　

After the off-line ceremony, the Phase II Cooperative Investment Agreement between GE and Henan Province was signed, according to which GE will continue the construction of Application Center for Wind Power Engineering, Service Center for Wind Power Digitalization, Wind Power Training Center and Wind Turbine Operation & Maintenance Center to build Puyang up into a comprehensive base for onshore wind turbines production and service covering the Asia-Pacific region.

下线仪式后，我省与通用电气签署濮阳基地二期项目合作投资协议，通用电气将在濮阳继续建设风电工程应用中心、风电数字化服务中心、风电培训中心和风机运行维护中心，将其打造成辐射亚太地区的陆上风电综合制造和服务基地。（中文来源/河南日报 翻译/赵汉青 审校/丁岚）
