Henan Donates Medical Supplies to Indonesian Sister City

河南省向印尼友好省州捐赠抗疫物资 5万只医用外科口罩运抵马塔兰市

On August 13, 50,000 medical masks donated by Henan Provincial People’s Government and Henan Muyuan Group to West Nusa Tenggara of Indonesia arrived in Mataram city, the capital of West Nusa Tenggara, which will be distributed to local medical institutions immediately via the local government to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

大河网讯8月13日，河南省人民政府联合牧原集团向印度尼西亚西努沙登加拉省（以下简称：西努省）捐赠的5万只医用外科口罩运抵该省首府马塔兰市，该批物资将通过该省政府分发给当地医疗机构，助力一线医务人员抗击新冠肺炎疫情。

Since the pandemic outbreak, China and Indonesia have shared weal and woe and made concerted efforts to help each other. At the most difficult moment of the pandemic prevention and control, the Indonesian government and people from all walks of life have expressed their solidarity with China. China has also been concerned about the anti-pandemic work in Indonesia and provided firm support for Indonesia in its fight against the pandemic. At present, the situation is still grim in Indonesia with more than 1,500 new cases reported every day.

疫情暴发以来，中国印尼两国齐心协力，守望相助。在中国疫情防控最艰难的时刻，印尼政府和社会各界向中国表达了宝贵声援。中方也始终关注印尼疫情发展，为印尼抗击疫情提供坚定支持。当前印尼每日新增1500余病例，抗疫形势依然严峻。

The bilateral cooperation prospect is broad. As a major “granary” in Indonesia, West Nusa Tenggara is well-known for its animal husbandry industry and rich in tourism resources. In recent years, the relationship between Henan and West Nusa Tenggara has maintained positive momentum with close exchanges and new cooperation progress at various levels. Since the pandemic outbreak, Henan and West Nusa Tenggara have stood together through thick and thin, and their foreign affairs and health departments have maintained close contact to learn from each other and share their experience in fighting against the pandemic.
