Henan Holds Symposium on Development and Utilization of Yellow River Archives

如何讲好档案中的黄河故事？黄河档案资源开发利用座谈会在豫举行

 

Archives, memory of history and carrier of civilization, play an irreplaceable role in inheritance and promotion of the Yellow River culture. To make full use of it in better telling the Yellow River’s story, the Symposium on Development and Utilization of the Yellow River Archives was jointly held by the General Office of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee, Henan Provincial Administration of Archives and the Provincial Archives of Henan on the afternoon of September 10.

档案作为历史的记忆、文明的载体，在黄河文化的传承弘扬中有着不可替代的重要作用。为充分发挥档案在讲好黄河故事中发挥引领示范作用，9月10日下午，河南省委办公厅、省档案局、省档案馆在郑州联合召开黄河档案资源开发利用座谈会。

Relevant leaders, experts and scholars from the General Office of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee, Party History Research Center of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee, Renmin University of China, Zhengzhou University, Henan University and CRI Online of China Media Group attended the meeting.

To implement the spirit of president Xi’s speech at the Symposium on Ecological Protection and High-quality Development of the Yellow River Basin, the Provincial Archives of Henan has not only strengthened the collection, arrangement and development of the archives related to the Yellow River, but also integrated the relevant archives across the province, playing a leading role in speaking to the world. More than 4,400 pieces of archives from modern and contemporary times of great research value have been sorted out, covering river affairs, disaster relief, water transport, cultural history, social customs, ecological protection, etc.

据悉，为深入贯彻落实习近平总书记在黄河流域生态保护和高质量发展座谈会的讲话精神，河南省档案馆着力加强黄河档案资源的收集、整理、开发工作，立足馆藏优势，统筹全省黄河档案资源，在讲好黄河故事中发挥引领示范作用。梳理出馆藏近现代黄河档案资料4400余件，内容涵盖自明清以来黄河河南段河务、赈灾、漕运、文化历史、风土习俗、生态保护等方面，具有较高的研究价值。

 

Based on the existing Yellow River archives, the book Historical Archives of the Yellow River in Henan Province will start compilation in chronological sequence, including the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the Republic of China (1912-1949), the period (1949-1978) between the founding of the PRC and the implementation of reform and opening-up policy. In addition, to take advantage of the Internet and big data technologies, the Provincial Archives of Henan will also rely on its Digital Archives Department to create a Database for Yellow River Cultural Resources and a Digital Public Service Platform, making new contributions with more lively and attractive Yellow River archives.

河南省档案馆将以馆藏黄河档案为基础，以时间为序，分为“清代的黄河档案”“民国时期的黄河档案”“新中国成立至改革开放前的黄河档案”“改革开放以来的黄河档案”“十八大后的黄河档案”等五个专题，启动《河南黄河档案史料汇编》编纂工作。同时，为了充分利用互联网和大数据的优势，河南省档案馆还将以省数字档案馆为依托，整合黄河档案及信息数据，搭建黄河档案文化资源库暨数字化公共服务平台，让黄河档案走出来、活起来、亮起来，再谱兰台新华章。（中文来源/大河网 记者/王世洋 翻译/赵汉青 审校/丁岚）
