Henan’s Economic Growth Shifts from Negative to Positive in First Three Quarters
前三季度河南省经济增速由负转正
Henan’s economic growth has turned from negative to positive. According to the series of major indicators of economic performance released by Henan Statistics Bureau on October 24, over the past 9 months, Henan’s GDP reached 3987.671 billion RMB yuan (up by 0.5 percent year-on-year calculated at comparable price) based on the unified regional calculation of gross domestic product (GDP).
10月24日，河南省统计局对外发布前三季度全省经济运行情况，根据地区生产总值统一核算结果，前三季度全省生产总值39876.71亿元，按可比价格计算同比增长0.5%，经济增速由负转正。
“Henan’s economy is showing signs of sustained recovery with production and supply continuously improved, market demand steadily recovered, emerging economic momentum maintained and the people’s basic livelihood ensured,” said a source from Henan Statistics Bureau.
