Henan Intends to Showcase Its Wonders at the 3rd CIIE

这些“河南元素”将亮相进博会

 

A delegation headed by Henan Provincial People’s Government, together with a Henan trade group, will attend the 3rd China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as the 3rd CIIE), which is scheduled to be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10.

11月5日~10日，第三届中国国际进口博览会将在上海隆重举办，河南省将组成河南省政府代表团和河南交易团参加展会。

On October 29, a news briefing on the delegation’s general arrangement and preparation for the 3rd CIIE was held by the Information Office of Henan Provincial People’s Government, at which such news was learned that a comprehensive exhibition area and some featured exhibition areas for time-honored brands and intangible cultural heritages would be set up at the 3rd CIIE so as to highlight Henan’s new edge for development, new image and remarkable achievements in economic and social development.

10月29日，河南省政府新闻办召开新闻发布会，重点介绍第三届中国国际进口博览会河南交易团的总体安排和筹备情况。记者在发布会现场了解到，为借进博会平台展示河南发展新优势、新形象和经济社会发展取得的显著成效，本届进博会河南交易团设置综合形象展区和“中华老字号”“非物质文化遗产”等展区。

 

Located at the Central Square of National Convention and Exhibition Center, the comprehensive exhibition area, covering an area of 108 square meters with the theme of “Wonderful Henan, Global Partnership”, mainly exhibits the achievements of Henan’s opening-up via the on-site LED screens and panels with diversified modes of expression like sound, light and electricity through videos, words, pictures and objects. By integrating many local characteristics like “Henan--The Center of Heaven and Earth” “The Starting Point of the Ancient Silk Road in the East” “Ru Porcelains” into the design, the comprehensive exhibition area, open to aisles on three sides, stresses Henan’s brilliant image featured by broad mind, open-oriented innovation and win-win cooperation.

综合形象展区位于国家会展中心中央广场，面积108平方米，展区以“与世界携手，让河南出彩”为主题，以LED屏幕和展板两种载体呈现，以视频、文字、图片、实物相结合的展览形式，使用声、光、电等多元化表现方式，重点展示河南省对外开放成果。展位布局三面开放，以“天地之中—河南”“古丝绸之路的东方启点”和“汝瓷元素”等融入本次设计，突出河南省海纳百川、开放创新、合作共赢的出彩形象。

 

The comprehensive exhibition area is divided into five parts, namely Henan with an Open Mind, A Forerunner, Brilliant Five Zones, Four Colorful Silk Roads and Wonderful Henan, not only to display Henan’s profound history, rich cultural heritage and unique landscape, but also to show its remarkable achievements in economic development, major breakthroughs in open-oriented economy, key projects of “bringing in” and “going out”, results of talent recruitment as well as development orientation and prospects of “Five Zones and Four Silk Roads”, aiming to demonstrate the new pattern of Henan’s opening-up, new achievements of the economic development and new business opportunities nurtured by society.

展区设置开放河南、腾飞龙头、辉煌五区、多彩四路、出彩河南等五大板块，全面展示河南省厚重的历史文化底蕴、独特的地理人文景观，以及河南省近年来经济发展的重大成就、开放型经济的重大成果、“引进来”和“走出去”的重大项目、招才引智成果、“五区四路”功能定位和发展前景，充分展现河南开放呈现的新格局、经济发展的新成就、社会孕育的新商机。

 

A variety of Henan-made products will also be presented at the 3rd CIIE to show the new progress of Henan’s scientific and technological development.

中铁七局“彩云号”盾构机模型、宇通客车睿控U12纯电动公交车、T7客车模型、中信重工消防机器人等实物也将亮相进博会，展现河南科技发展的新成就。（中文来源/大河网 翻译/赵汉青 审校/白玉杰）
