Multinational Companies Have a Strong Interest in Investing in Henan

跨国公司对投资河南兴趣浓

On November 5, the Third China International Import Expo (the 3rd CIIE) was officially opened. The latest products of world-renowned multinational companies can be seen at various fascinating exhibition areas, attracting lots of visitors.

11月5日，第三届进博会正式开门迎宾。穿行在进博会各大展区，随处可见全球知名跨国公司的最新产品，场馆布置炫酷震撼，引人驻足。

Henan is a province with a prosperous equipment manufacturing industry. GE, Siemens and Panasonic at the high-end manufacturing exhibition area all have investment or cooperative projects in Henan.

河南是装备制造业大省，高端制造展区让我们这些来自河南的记者十分关注，展馆内的GE、西门子、松下电器等公司在河南都有投资或合作项目。

According to Xiang Weiming, president and CEO of GE China, who is optimistic about Henan’s economic development prospects and business environment, GE will continue to introduce industry-leading solutions suitable for Henan’s needs and carry out more fruitful cooperation with Henan in industrial chain upgrading, ecosystem construction, talent training and digitization in the future.

GE中国总裁兼首席执行官向伟明表示看好河南的经济发展前景和营商环境，未来将持续引入适合河南所需的行业领先解决方案，在产业链升级、生态圈建设、人才培养、数字化等领域开展更多富有成效的合作。

In addition, Siemens has cooperated with Henan in many fields, such as intelligent manufacturing, “going global”, education and training. According to Han Lei, vice-president of Siemens (China) Ltd and general manager of Siemens (China) Ltd Central China Region, Siemens can provide a variety of hardware and software solutions to Henan’s industrial transformation and enterprise upgrading. For example, Siemens and Henan have already carried out a great deal of cooperation in cement, metallurgy and steel industries.

除此之外，西门子公司与河南有多领域的合作，涉及智能制造、“走出去”和教育培训等领域。西门子中国有限公司副总裁、华中区总经理韩磊表示，对于工业产业转型、企业升级改造，西门子可以提供硬件、软件多种方案，比如在水泥、冶金、钢铁行业，西门子和河南开展了多项合作。

Zhao Bingdi, vice-president of China & Northeast Asia Company of Panasonic Corporation, remarked that there would be more opportunities for cooperation between Panasonic and Henan. Henan is not only a populous province with strong innovation capacity, but also an economically important province with great potentials in China. Panasonic also hopes to invest in Henan since there is broad space for bilateral cooperation.

松下电器中国东北亚公司副总裁赵炳弟则认为，接下来与河南会有很多合作机会。河南不光是人口大省，也是有潜力的经济大省，而且河南人有很强的创新力，双方合作空间广阔，松下也希望来河南投资兴业。（中文来源/河南日报 翻译/赵汉青 审校/白玉杰）
