New China-Europe Freight Train Service Linking Henan with Finland Opens

At 10:40 am, November 20, accompanied by a loud whistle, a China-Europe freight train left Zhengzhou Railway Container Center Station. Different from previous ones, it is bound for Helsinki in Finland, marking the successful launch of the new train route linking Central China's transport hub Zhengzhou with Helsinki in Finland.

11月20日上午10时40分，伴随着响亮的汽笛声，一趟开往欧洲的国际货运班列缓缓从郑州铁路集装箱中心站驶出。与以往有所不同，这趟班列踏上的是通向芬兰首都赫尔辛基的新行程，也标志着中欧班列（郑州）芬兰线路首班顺利开行。

The train carrying 43 TEUs loaded with 461 tons of disposable medical masks, medical equipment against COVID-19, hazmat suits, lamps, mechanical and electrical products, which are worth around 3 million U.S. dollars, will arrive at the terminal in half a month.

一次性医用口罩、抗疫医疗器材、隔离衣、灯具、机电产品等，此趟首发班列共搭载43组集装箱货物，总货重461吨、总货值300万美元，历时半个月后到达赫尔辛基。

　　

The China (Zhengzhou)-Europe freight train route bound for Helsinki has added one more destination to the previous four including Hamburg and Munich in Germany, Liege in Belgium and Moscow in Russia. Such expansion will be of benefit to the trade between China and Europe.

中欧班列（郑州）芬兰线路是继德国汉堡、慕尼黑以及比利时列日、俄罗斯莫斯科线路之后，新增的第五条欧洲线路。中欧班列（郑州）目的站城市的扩容，进一步丰富了中欧贸易通道。

　　

It is learned that Zhengzhou has seen the operation of 3,745 China-Europe cargo trains (2,243 outbound and 1,502 inbound) in the past seven years, with 2020.4 thousand tons of goods in cumulative value of 15.55 billion U.S. dollars.
