On February 5, the Fifth China-CEEC Local Leaders' Meeting was held online.

Vice governor He Jinping attended the meeting in Zhengzhou. This meeting was hosted by the People's Government of Liaoning Province under the theme of "work together for common development and a shared future". It aims at leveraging local collaboration to promote cooperation between China and CEEC in various fields and foster new prospects with national and local drivers.

副省长何金平在郑州出席会议。据了解，此次会议由辽宁省人民政府主办，以“携手共命运，同心促发展”为主题，旨在发挥地方合作在推动中国—中东欧国家各领域合作中的重要作用，打造中央和地方双轮驱动的中国—中东欧国家合作新格局。

CEE countries have highly dynamic economies with low labour costs and enjoy huge potentials for cooperating with Henan in trade and economy, tourism, agriculture, innovation and people-to-people exchanges. CEE countries are not only significant cooperation partners for Henan in building Belt and Road Initiative, but also serve as important windows for Henan to expand cooperation with Europe and realize high-quality economic development. Taking this meeting as an opportunity, we will carry out a series of industrial promotion activities to further expand fields of cooperation and innovate methods of collaboration and promote high-quality development of Henan with high-level opening up, said an official from the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Henan Province.

据介绍，中东欧国家经济活力强，劳动力成本低，与我省在经贸、旅游、农业、创新、人文交流等领域合作潜力巨大，既是我省融入共建“一带一路”的重要合作伙伴，也是我省拓展对欧合作空间、实现经济高质量发展的重要窗口。省政府外事办有关负责人表示，将以此次会议为契机，开展一系列产业对接活动，进一步拓展合作领域、创新合作方式，以高水平对外开放推动河南高质量发展。（中文来源/河南日报 翻译/李娜 审校/宋美扬子）
