Henan CPPCC Members Share Thoughts After Opening Meeting
住豫委员开幕会后话感受 奋斗新时代合力开新局
On the afternoon of March 4, the fourth session of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened in Beijing. CPPCC National Committee members listened to the report on the work of the CPPCC Standing Committee and the work related to the proposals. After the opening ceremony, members of the CPPCC from Henan talked about their feelings about the session.
3月4日下午，全国政协十三届四次会议在北京开幕，委员们听取了政协常委会工作报告和提案工作情况报告。开幕会后，住豫全国政协委员纷纷谈起了参会感受。
"The work report of the CPPCC Standing Committee clearly stated that we should focus on the first year's work of the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25) to fulfill our duties, followed with specified arrangements, fully reflecting the CPPCC's work requirements of focusing on the central task and serving the overall interests." Looking forward to the new year, member Song Chunpeng is filled with confidence. He said that the National People's Congress (NPC) and the CPPCC will further the development plans and goals for a longer period of time. As members from the education sector, we should stick to our responsibilities and speed up the construction of "double tops" universities, satisfy the people with their education, and cultivate more high-level talents to promote the high-quality development of the 14th Five-Year Plan.
“常委会工作报告明确提出聚焦‘十四五’开局起步履职尽责，并作出具体安排部署，充分体现了政协组织围绕中心、服务大局的工作要求。”展望新的一年，宋纯鹏委员满怀信心。他说，这次全国两会还要确定更长时期的发展规划和目标，作为教育界的委员，要立足岗位做好工作，加快“双一流”大学建设，办好人民满意的教育，为推动“十四五”高质量发展培养更多高层次人才。
After last year's battle against the COVID-19 epidemic, member Huang Gairong was deeply impressed: "With the pandemic still serious and complex around the world, this year's NPC and CPPCC sessions are held as scheduled, which fully demonstrates China's significant strategic achievements in epidemic prevention and control. I have seen people become more conscious and familiar with the implementation of normal epidemic prevention and control measures at the meeting. The great spirit revealed in combating the epidemic is our precious treasure. We should carry it forward and use it as drive for strong synergy in our development."
经历了去年抗击新冠肺炎疫情斗争，黄改荣委员深有感慨：“在世界疫情形势还严峻复杂的情况下，今年全国两会如期召开，充分说明了我国疫情防控取得了重大战略成果。这次会议上，我看到大家落实常态化疫情防控措施更加自觉、娴熟了。伟大的抗疫精神是我们的宝贵财富，要传承好、弘扬好，凝聚起推动发展的强大合力。”
Member Yang Wanli told the reporter that this meeting followed the concise and pragmatic style as always. The two reports are simple in style, concise in language and rich in content, which are good reports to gather strength and boost morale. It is believed that under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with comrade Xi Jinping at its core, the CPPCC will surely make greater achievements in its work in the up-coming year. He also remarked that building consensus is an important function of the CPPCC in the new era. As CPPCC members, we should do more to adjust emotions, resolve conflicts, promote harmony, and maintain stability. We should rally and lead the people around us in implementing plans of the Party and the government, and work together to make our homeland a better place.
杨万里委员告诉记者，这次会议延续了精简务实的会风，两个报告文风朴实、简短凝练、内容丰富，是凝聚力量、鼓舞士气的好报告。相信在以习近平同志为核心的党中央坚强领导下，全国政协新一年的工作一定会取得更大成绩。他说，凝聚共识是新时代人民政协的重要职能。作为政协委员，要多做理顺情绪、化解矛盾、促进和谐、维护稳定的工作，团结带领身边群众贯彻好、执行好党和政府的各项部署，共同把祖国大家园建设得更美好。
As the "two sessions" continues, Henan CPPCC members vow to strictly observe the disciplines of the sessions, conscientiously perform their duties, demonstrate their good traits and sense of responsibility and make positive contributions to ensure the success of the sessions.
