China-Europe Freight Train Hub Zhengzhou Sees Jump in Q1

中欧班列郑州集结中心运营实现首季开门红

 

In the first quarter of this year, container handling volume at CR Intermodal Zhengzhou Terminal amounted to 63,247 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units ), up 73 percent from one year ago, while that of container shipping were 27,043 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 82 percent, according to the Terminal.  March 31 in particular saw a new record for the highest volume per day of container movements with 573 TEUs shipped and 1229 handled, which concluded Zhengzhou's successful operation in Q1.

4月11日，记者从中铁联集郑州中心站获悉，今年第一季度，集装箱办理量为63247标准箱，与去年同比增幅73%；完成发送箱27043标准箱，同比增幅82%；其中3月31日，完成发送箱573标准箱,办理量完成1229标准箱，创建站以来单日工作量新高。这也标志着中欧班列郑州集结中心实现了运营首季开门红。

According to statistics, in the first quarter, China-Europe freight train (Zhengzhou) made 349 trips carrying 22.47 tons of cargo worth $1.297 billion, up 122 percent, 109 percent and 103 percent year-on-year respectively.

据统计，一季度中欧班列（郑州）开行349班，累计货值12.97亿美元、货重22.47万吨，与去年同期相比，开行列数、货值、货重分别增长122%、103%、109%。（中文来源/河南日报 翻译/赵汉青 审校/丁岚）
