Henan Accelerates Move to Peak Carbon Dioxide Emissions and Carbon Neutrality

河南加快推进“碳达峰、碳中和”

 

In light of the requirements of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Henan Province, an action plan to peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality has been formulated based on the analysis of Henan's energy and power development, according to State Grid Henan Electric Power Company on April 16. At present, the detailed rules for the implementation of the action plan are at the proposal stage.

4月16日，记者从国网河南省电力公司获悉，按照省委、省政府要求，结合河南能源电力发展实际情况，该公司研究制定了国家电网公司“碳达峰、碳中和”行动河南落地方案。目前，该方案措施细化落实工作进展有序。

According to a source from the Company's development department, "On the supply side, a diversified clean energy supply system will be constructed to raise the proportion of non-fossil energy in primary energy consumption to around 18 percent and 25 percent in 2025 and 2030 respectively, and that of green electricity to about 38 percent and 48 percent. On the consumption side, electrification and energy conservation will be promoted to raise the proportion of electric energy in terminal energy consumption to around 30 percent and 35 percent in 2025 and 2030 respectively."

“在能源供给侧，构建多元化清洁能源供应体系，力争到2025年、2030年，我省非化石能源占一次能源消费比重将达18%、25%左右，外电和清洁电量占全社会用电量比重将达38%、48%左右。在能源消费侧，全面推进电气化和节能提效，力争到2025年、2030年，电能占终端能源消费比重将达30%、35%左右。”省电力公司发展部有关负责人介绍。

 

To achieve these goals, 21 measures in 6 aspects have been put forward, involving grid construction, power dispatching, energy conservation and consumption reduction, etc.
