A 'Zhongyu' Freight Train from Xinxiang to Hanoi Launched

中欧班列（中豫号）新乡-越南河内线路开通

On August 6, loaded with shiitake mushroom products, dried agarics, machine parts, etc., a "Zhongyu" freight train of China Railway Express left Xinxiang city of Henan province for Hanoi, capital of Vietnam, marking a new progress in the development of the province's southbound corridor after Henan named all its freight trains of China Railway Express "Zhongyu" this April.

8月6日，伴随着响亮的汽笛声，一列满载着香菇制品、干制木耳、机械配件等货物的中欧班列（中豫号）从新乡经开区公铁物流园发出，前往越南首都河内，这是河南省中欧班列统一命名“中豫号”后推进南向国际通道进一步畅通取得的又一新进展。

Carrying 23 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) of goods with a value of 5.188 million US dollars and a weight of 407.5 tons, the train will reach its destination via Pingxiang port in Guangxi province within 5 to 7 days.

该趟班列运送集装箱23组，46个标准箱，货值518.8万美元，货重407.5吨，从新乡出发，经广西凭祥口岸出境到达越南首都河内，整体运行时间约5-7天。

Following the one linking with the Western European countries opened in March, the new route is the first launched in Xinxiang for the ASEAN countries.

中欧班列（中豫号）“新乡-越南河内”线路是新乡市首趟开行的东盟国际班列，新线路的开通是继“新乡-西欧”线路开通之后的又一条新通道。

During the January-July period, the "Zhongyu" freight trains of China Railway Express made 964 trips, up 13.5 percent from a year earlier. The launch of the new route is the first attempt of a new logistics channel from North Henan to the ASEAN countries, which is bound to accelerate the integration of Xinxiang and its surrounding areas into the "Belt and Road" construction and set a positive example for sharing new opportunities brought by the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.
