China's ShenzhouXIV astronauts will conduct extravehicular activities (EVAs) for the first time in the next few days, China Media Group reported on Saturday.

The three-member crew has been working and living in orbit for 70 days since they were sent into space onboard the ShenzhouXIV spaceship and entered China's space station.

The combination of China's space station is currently formed by the Tianhe core module, the Wentian lab module, the ShenzhouXIV spaceship and the Tianzhou 4 cargo craft.

The ShenzhouXIV astronauts will venture out of the airlock cabin of the Wentian lab module for the first time, while their predecessors, Shenzhou XIII and Shenzhou XII crew members, all exited from the Tianhe core module.
