At 6 AM on January 16, a cargo flight from Luxembourg loaded with European auto parts and high-end clothing arrived at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (hereinafter referred to as Zhengzhou Airport). In two hours, the cargo flight returned to Luxembourg carrying China-made smart phones, luggage and other products.

1月16日早上6点，搭载着欧洲汽车零部件、高档服装的卢森堡货运航班抵达郑州机场；两小时后，它满载着中国制造的智能手机、箱包等货物返回卢森堡。

In recent years, Henan government has proactively participated in the “Belt and Road” construction and deepened the strategic cooperation of Zhengzhou - Luxembourg aviation “Double Hubs” to promote the reform and development with the high-level opening-up measures. With the fast development of the “Aerial Silk Road”, Zhengzhou Airport has opened 34 all-cargo routes and 208 passenger routes, basically shaping an aviation network, which stretches over Europe, America and Asia, and covers the major global economies.

近年来，河南省深度融入“一带一路”建设，深化郑卢“双枢纽”战略合作，以高水平开放促改革促发展。河南的“空中丝绸之路”越飞越广，郑州机场已开通全货机航线34条、客运航线208条；基本形成横跨欧美亚、覆盖全球主要经济体的枢纽航线网络。

From “one air route” to “buy global, sell global”

从“一条航线”到“买卖全球”

At Zhengzhou Airport’s west cargo terminal, wild eels from Bangladesh and high-end auto parts from Germany are to be distributed around the country, while the electronics from Chongqing and fiber-optic cables from Shanghai are being shipped abroad. Zhengzhou has become a global distribution hub for mobile phones, high-end auto parts, electronic products, chilled aquatic products and other goods.

在郑州机场西货站，来自孟加拉国的野生鳝鱼、德国的高端汽车零部件正等待被分拨到各地，来自重庆的电子产品、上海的光缆将要被运往国外。郑州已成为全球手机、高端汽车零部件、电子产品、冰鲜水产品等货物的集散中心。

Zhengzhou Airport, regarded as the main force of the Aerial Silk Road’s construction, has consistently opened more routes and busier flights, taking Zhengzhou as the center to gradually expand the international air cargo network of “connecting three continents with one point; linking Europe and America with one line”. For two consecutive years, Zhengzhou Airport maintained its first place in Central China for both passenger throughput and cargo throughput, becoming the real “Double Champions”.

作为“空中丝绸之路”建设的主力军，郑州机场不断开辟航线、加密航班，形成以郑州为中心、“一点连三洲，一线串欧美”的航空国际货运网络。无论是旅客吞吐量，还是货邮吞吐量，郑州机场连续两年领跑中部地区，是名副其实的“双冠王”。

Multi-modal combined transport enables the trade facilitation

多式联运助力贸易便利化

In the construction of “Belt and Road” project, Henan, taking multi-modal combined transport as the focal point, has actively explored the standard innovation, system innovation and mode innovation. Among them, Zhengzhou Airport has first developed a data transaction service platform for the multi-modal combined transport, thus becoming China’s only intelligent platform focusing on the airport.

河南在“一带一路”建设中，把多式联运作为着力点，在标准创新、制度创新和模式创新等方面进行了积极探索。其中，郑州机场率先研发出多式联运数据交易服务平台，成为国内唯一的以机场为中心搭建的智能化平台。

At present, there are 30 truck transport enterprises running in Zhengzhou Airport with an annual cargo volume of almost 300 thousand tons, with a high-speed freight network as far north as Harbin, as far south as Haikou, as far west as Xining, and as far east as Shanghai.

目前，在郑州机场运营的卡车运输企业达30家，年运送货量近30万吨，形成了北至哈尔滨、南至海口、西至西宁、东至上海的快速货运网络。

Forge a global air “transfer station”

打造全球航空“中转站”

As for an international airport, the more traffic rights lead to more accessible network of passenger and freight from all directions. Currently, there are a number of international freight routes in Zhengzhou Airport enjoying the 5th traffic right.

对于一个国际机场来说，可利用的航权越多，客货运的网络就会越通达，影响力会越来越强。目前，郑州机场已经有一批国际货运航线享受第五航权。

The connectivity of air routes has not only makes the trade convenient, but also promotes the interpersonnel communications and understanding. Luxembourg Tourist Visa (Zhengzhou) Service Platform has been opened in Zhengdong New District of Zhengzhou. From now on, the residents in Henan can apply for a Schengen visa to Luxembourg at Zhengzhou, and are able to travel to the 26 Schengen countries through the “Aerial Silk Road”.

航线联通不仅带来了贸易畅通，而且增加了人员往来，促进了民心相通。卢森堡旅游签证（郑州）便捷服务平台已在郑州市郑东新区揭牌运营，河南居民在家门口就能办理赴卢森堡的申根签证，通过“空中丝绸之路”舒心畅游26个申根国家。

Taking the “Aerial Silk Road” as the core, Zhengzhou Airport is speeding up the construction of an international air freight hub with prominent efficiency advantages, an air passenger hub with better service quality, and a comprehensive transport hub with more convenient multi-modal combined transport. In the future, it will be witnessed that Zhengzhou Airport is becoming a global air “transfer station” which is bound to further enhance the opening-up level of Henan Province.
