An unusual cold spell has blessed the lake in Zhangye Wetland Park, Northwest China's Gansu province, with a majestic mirror-like surface late in Feb. The frozen lake, resulting from the sudden temperature drop in Zhangye, which is in early spring already, manages to reflect the images of ancient city towers nearby.
