Rainbow Arches over Yellow River in Early Spring

Since the beginning of this month, the Hukou Waterfalls on the Yellow River has begun swelling with water pouring in as the frozen upstream in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region began to melt.

Rushing water has produced enough water vapor. Added to that is the bright sunshine and clear air in the early spring, all of which makes rainbow appear and stretch over the waterfalls.

Besides the rainbow arching over Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River, visitor can also enjoy folk arts performance in a special town themed on local culture built near the waterfalls, in Yichuan county, Yan'an city, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, April 4, 2019.
