Henan has made continuous breakthroughs in connecting the “Maritime Silk Road”. On April 12, the east-bound route of the rail-sea combined transport from Zhengzhou to Southeast Asia via Lianyungang successfully launched at the Zhengzhou Container Hub in Zhengzhou Economic and Technology Development Zone. After arriving at the port of Lianyungang, the containers loaded with abrasives will finally reach Bangkok, Thailand by sea. The whole journey is expected to take about 15 days.

积极对接“海上丝绸之路”，河南不断取得新突破。4月12日，“郑州—连云港—东南亚”铁海联运国际东向通道铁路箱在位于郑州经济技术开发区的郑州铁路集装箱中心站成功首发，本次装载磨料的铁路集装箱到达连云港港口后，经海运将最终运抵泰国曼谷，全程预计15天左右。

The "Zhengzhou-Lianyungang-Southeast Asia" rail-sea combined transport was successfully launched, marking the smooth operation of the "Zhengzhou-Lianyungang" rail-sea combined transport platform, truly realizing the new multimodal logistics model of "one box to the end" concerning foreign trade goods.

“郑州—连云港—东南亚”铁海联运铁路箱首发，标志着“郑州—连云港”铁海联运平台顺利投入运营，真正实现了铁路箱内外贸货物“一箱到底”的全程多式联运物流新模式。

In order to better serve the “Belt and Road” construction, give full play to Zhengzhou’s location advantage, connect the rail-sea combined transport to the “Maritime Silk Road”, and expand logistics channel to connect the ASEAN, Zhengzhou Container Hub, together with Lianyungang New Oriental Container Terminal Co., Ltd and China Railway Container Transport Corp., Ltd Zhengzhou Branch, has successfully expanded its sea-transport business of foreign trade goods in railway containers based on the mature operation of "Zhengzhou-Lianyungang" rail-sea combined transport platform. 

为更好地服务“一带一路”建设，发挥郑州的区位优势，实现铁海联运对接“海上丝绸之路”，拓展物流通道连接东盟，郑州铁路集装箱中心站联合连云港新东方集装箱码头有限公司、中铁集装箱郑州分公司，在“郑州—连云港”铁路箱内贸货物班列运行成熟的基础上，成功拓展铁路箱外贸货物下水业务。

It is reported that Zhengzhou Container Hub has spread its experiences to the relevant units withing China Railway Zhengzhou Group Co., Ltd, increased the container volume of the rail-sea combined transport, expanded the business scope, strengthened the coastal transport of domestic trade goods, speed up the development of the near and far-sea shipping line, and seized the opportunity of the "Land-Sea International East-Bound Trade Route", making the channel between Zhengzhou Container Hub and Lianyungang port become the convenient access to East China, Circum-Bohai Sea Region, China's South-East coastal areas, Beidu Gulf , Japan and South Korea, Southeast Asia and even the whole world for Zhengzhou and its surroundings, and continuously improve the capacity and level to serve the “Belt and Road” construction.

据了解，郑州铁路集装箱中心站将铁路箱下水模式复制到中国铁路郑州局集团有限公司管内相关站点，增加铁路集装箱铁海联运运量、扩大业务辐射范围，做强内贸货物沿海运输，加快外贸货物近洋和远洋航线开发，抢抓“陆海国际东向贸易通道”机遇，使郑州铁路集装箱中心站至连云港港口之间的通道成为郑州及周边去往华东、环渤海、东南沿海、北部湾、日本和韩国、东南亚乃至全球的便捷出海口，不断提升服务“一带一路”建设的能力和水平。（记者王延辉 通讯员史锋华 编译赵汉青）
