Henan to Hold the 3rd Global Conference on Cross-border E-commerce on May 10

On May 7, it was announced at a press conference held by the Information Office of Henan Provincial People’s Government that the 3rd Global Conference on Cross-border E-commerce is to be held at Zhengzhou on May 10. Guests from over 40 countries (regions) are going to gather at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center for in-depth discussion and exchange on cross-border e-commerce innovation and cooperation, contributing experience and wisdom to the development of global cross-border e-commerce.

5月7日，河南省政府新闻办召开新闻发布会通报：5月10日，第三届全球跨境电子商务大会将在郑州隆重举办。届时，来自40多个国家（地区）的嘉宾将会聚郑州国际会展中心，围绕跨境电商创新与合作深入探讨交流，为全球跨境电商发展贡献经验和智慧。

Since 2017, the Global Conference on Cross-border E-commerce has been held annually at Zhengzhou, which is co-sponsored by the Department of Commerce of Henan Province, the People’s Government of Zhengzhou Municipality, the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce, and the China International E-commerce Center. With the theme of “Global Reach” and the focuses on the new changes of cross-border e-commerce rules and regulations, new facilitation of customs clearance and new development of digital trade, this conference aims at the negotiation on the development trend and trade rules of the global cross-border e-commerce industry, the construction of an international, high-end and refined cross-border e-commerce exchange and cooperation platform, the promotion of the continuous innovation of cross-border e-commerce and the achievement of high-quality development, in forms of the opening ceremonies, summits and parallel forums.

全球跨境电子商务大会自2017年起，每年在郑州举办一届。大会由河南省商务厅、郑州市政府、商务部国际贸易经济合作研究院、中国国际电子商务中心联合主办。本届大会以“买全球·卖全球”为主题，围绕跨境电子商务规则制度新变化、通关贸易新便利、数字贸易新发展等，举办开幕式、高峰会及系列平行论坛，探讨全球跨境电商行业发展趋势和贸易规则，打造国际化、高端化、精细化的跨境电子商务交流合作平台，推动跨境电子商务持续创新，实现高质量发展。

Zhang Yanming, director of the Conference Organizing Committee Office and director-general of Henan Provincial Department of Commerce, remarked that, the opening ceremony and global cross-border E-commerce summit will be opened at the Xuanyuan Hall of Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center on the morning of May 10th, with the 4 parallel forums opened at the ZICE Center in the afternoon.

大会组委会办公室主任、河南省商务厅厅长张延明介绍，10日上午，大会开幕式暨跨境电子商务高峰会将在郑州国际会展中心轩辕堂举办；10日下午，4场平行论坛将同时在郑州国际会展中心举办。

So far, roughly 1,600 guests from domestic and 45 countries (regions) abroad are planning for the participation.

目前已确认或基本确认参会的嘉宾客商近1600名，来自国内和45个国家（地区）。

The leaders of international organizations attending to the conference are: Long Yongtu, co-chairman of the Global CEO Conference, chairman of the Center for China and Globalization and chairman of the Global Cross-border E-commerce Conference; Huang Qifan, vice-chairman of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges; Zhang Dawei, vice-chairman and secretary-general of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges, directors from the World Customs Organization, International Standardization Organization and United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation, including the representatives from the overseas cities, etc.

全球CEO发展大会联合主席、中国与全球化智库主席、全球跨境电商大会主席龙永图，中国国际经济交流中心副理事长黄奇帆，中国国际经济交流中心副理事长兼秘书长张大卫，以及世界海关组织、国际标准化组织（ISO）、联合国南南合作办公室等国际组织负责人，部分境外城市代表等将出席本届盛会。（记者/赵振杰 编译/赵汉青 审校/焦丹）
