Farmers Celebrate Harvest and 70 Year Anniversary

Local farmers in Wangwenzhuang township in Xiqing district, North China's Tianjin, trimmed and shaped a paddy rice field into the shape of popular cartoon figures and greetings for the country, including "I love you, China", to celebrate the upcoming Farmers'Harvest Festival on Sept 23 and the country's 70th anniversary on Oct 1.

The rice field will be well preserved until the harvest time in October, local farmers say.

Their remarks also include "Blessing my great country!", "Wish for great harvest!" and "Technology creates brilliant agriculture!"
