Hairawn muhly, or pink muhly grass, is attracting visitors to a remote village in Central China's Henan province and turning it into a new hot tourist destination.
Henanzhuang village in Mianchi county, more than 60 kilometers from Sanmenxia city, is now popular with tourists for these cloudlike pink plants. The plants, ranging from about 30–90 centimeters tall, were planted last year and are now in full bloom.
The village also boasts building architecture from the Qing and Ming dynasties and a river dotted with beautiful sites alongside it.
