8 Cities of Henan Rated among 2019 China’s Top 100 Industrial Counties (Cities)

News comes from Henan Department of Industry and Information Technology that the China County Economy Development Forum sponsored by China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was held in Beijing on November 13. At the meeting, the Development Report on 2019 China’s Top 100 Industrial Counties (Cities) and Districts was published, in which 8 cities of Henan are listed.

记者从河南省工信厅获悉，由工信部所属中国信息通信研究院主办的中国县域工业经济发展论坛11月13日在京举行，会上发布了《中国工业百强县(市)、百强区发展报告（2019年）》，河南8市入围2019中国工业百强县（市）榜单。

The top 100 industrial counties (cities) and districts have respectively made 16.7 percent and 19.9 percent of China’s industrial added value, playing significant roles in implementing the innovation-driven development strategy, promoting the coordination of urban and rural areas, developing an open economy, deepening the economic restructuring and constructing a modern economic system. In fact, China’s top 100 industrial counties (cities) are mainly located in East China, such as Jiangsu, Shandong and Zhejiang, etc. For example, Jiangyin, Kunshan, Zhangjiagang and Changshu of Jiangsu province are rated top four. In Henan, the 8 cities included in the list are Xinzheng, Changge, Gongyi, Dengfeng, Yuzhou, Xinmi, Xingyang, and Qinyang, among which Xinzheng and Changge enjoy higher rankings of 32nd and 33rd places.

全国工业百强县（市）、百强区分别贡献了全国16.7%和19.9%工业增加值，是我国实施创新驱动发展战略，推动城乡区域协调发展，发展开放型经济，深化经济体制改革，建设现代化经济体系的重要载体。全国工业百强县（市）主要聚集在东部省份，以江苏、山东、浙江为多。此次江苏省的江阴、昆山、张家港、常熟4市占据前四名；我省入选的8市分别为新郑市、长葛市、巩义市、登封市、禹州市、新密市、荥阳市、沁阳市，其中新郑市、长葛市排名相对靠前，分列第32、33位。（记者陈辉 编译赵汉青 审校丁岚）
