Erlitou Relic Museum: A Hot Destination of Cultural Tourism

二里头夏都遗址博物馆成“文旅打卡地”

Erlitou has already become a new hot destination of cultural tourism. Since the opening ceremony on October 19, the high-profile Erlitou Site Museum of the Xia Capital and Erlitou Archaeological Site Park have received over 270, 000 visitors in just one month, with a guide serving 40 groups of visitors every day on average, according to Luoyang Cultural Relics Bureau on November 19.

11月19日，记者从洛阳市文物局获悉，备受关注的二里头夏都遗址博物馆和二里头考古遗址公园自10月19日开馆、开园以来，短短一个月，参观人数突破27万人次，讲解员日均讲解40批次。这里，已成为古都洛阳新的“文旅打卡地”。

As China’s major archaeological remains for the origin of Chinese civilization, the Erlitou Relics unveiled the mysterious history and culture of “the first capital of ancient China”, becoming a key to studying the origin of Chinese civilization. In the future, the museum will further intensify its efforts to study the relics, enrich exhibits and improve display methods to present the history of the Xia Dynasty to the public in a more vivid and direct way.

据悉，作为研究华夏文明开端的关键考古遗存，二里头遗址揭开了“华夏第一王都”的神秘面纱，成为开启中华文明起源的一把金钥匙。二里头夏都遗址博物馆相关负责人表示，博物馆今后将不断加大对馆藏文物的整理和研究力度，完善展陈内容，丰富展陈手段，把夏代历史更形象化、直观化地呈现给大众。（记者李宗宽 编译赵汉青 审校刘红强）
