Cooperation Agreement Signed between Henan and Wallonia

河南与比利时瓦隆大区签署合作协议

A Belgian economic and trade delegation led by Princess Astrid will visit China from November 17 to 22, and they will launch multiple economic and trade activities during the visit, according to Henan Provincial Department of Commerce on November 20. At the invitation of Consulate General of Belgium in Shanghai, Henan Provincial Department of Commerce also participated in the relevant activities in Beijing, where it signed an agreement with Export and Investment Agency of Wallonia, Belgium, to promote cooperation in railway freight transportation, cross-border e-commerce, pharmaceutical logistics, and higher education etc. Contracts of more than 40 projects were signed, including Memorandum of cooperation between Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Co., Ltd and Belgian Food Association.

11月20日，记者从河南省商务厅获悉，11月17日至22日，比利时公主阿斯特里德（Astrid）率经贸代表团访华并举办相关经贸活动。省商务厅应比利时驻上海总领事馆邀请赴北京出席相关活动。其间，省商务厅与比利时瓦隆大区贸易投资署共同签署项目推进合作协议，拟重点推动河南省与比利时瓦隆大区在货运班列、跨境电商、医药物流、高校等领域合作。郑州国际陆港开发建设有限公司与比利时食品协会合作备忘录等40余个中比合作项目同期签约。

The agreement states that the two sides will further promote cooperation between Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Co., Ltd and Wallonia; and consolidate achievements of freight railway transportation to further enhance the quantity and quality of railway freight between Zhengzhou and Liege.

根据签约内容，双方将继续推动郑州国际陆港开发建设有限公司与瓦隆大区的合作，巩固郑州和列日间的铁路货运班列成果，促进郑州—列日货运班列载货数量和质量的提升。

In addition, the two sides will strengthen cooperation in cross-border e-commerce to jointly promote and support the trade cooperation between Henan Bonded Logistics Center and Belgium Post. Other items are also specified in the agreement. For example, the two sides will cooperate to build both overseas warehouses on each other’s land and Belgium Pavilion in Henan province.

双方将加强在跨境电商领域的合作，共同推动和支持河南保税物流中心与比利时邮政对接贸易合作；支持双方合作互建海外仓，支持比利时方与河南相关合作方合作设立比利时馆等。（记者赵振杰 编译赵汉青 审校刘红强）
