More than 98 Million Social Security Cards Have Been Issued in Henan

河南省累计发行社保卡9800多万张

The “20th Anniversary of Social Security Card -- People-benefiting Project” launched in Zhengzhou on November 22 shows that more than 98 million social security cards have been issued so far, basically covering all insured people.

11月22日，河南省“社会保障卡20周年惠民服务季”活动在郑州启动。记者在启动仪式上了解到，截至目前，河南省已累计发行社保卡9800多万张，基本实现了参保人群全覆盖。

With the popularization of digitalization and mobile payment, a kind of “virtual social security card” has been put in use. The electronic social security card issued by National Social Security Card Service Platform can be connected with more social services, so that the card holders can enjoy the relevant convenient online services via their mobile phones.

随着数字化和移动支付的普及，赋予社保卡“网卡”形态已经实现。通过全国社保卡服务平台统一签发电子社保卡，可对接更多的社会服务渠道，使老百姓通过手机就可以享受电子社保卡便利的线上服务。

In Henan, the electronic social security card can be applied on WeChat, Alipay and “Henan Social Security” App. In future, Henan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security will vigorously promote the electronic social security card. In 2019, the number of electronic card holders is expected to be no less than 10 percent of physical card holders; in 2020, the number of electronic card holders is expected to be no less than 25 percent of physical card holders; and in 2021, “One Card for All” service management mode will be formed with both physical and electronic cards being used concurrently.

如今河南省已经开通了在微信、支付宝和“河南人社”APP等平台上进行“电子社保卡”认证。下一步，河南省人社厅将大力推广电子社保卡：2019年，计划实现签发量不低于10%的实体卡持卡人数；2020年，签发量不低于25%的实体卡持卡人数；2021年，形成实体社保卡与电子社保卡广泛协同并用的线上线下“一卡通”服务管理模式。（记者逯彦萃 编译赵汉青 审校张玉红）
