Zhengzhou- Europe Block Train Reports Steady Cargo Growth

News from Zhengzhou Customs on Nov. 27, 2019 shows that 828 Zhengzhou-Europe International Block Trains were launched with a total freight turnover of 400 thousand tons in the first 10 months of this year, up 44.3 percent and 4.15 percent year-on-year respectively.

11月27日，记者从郑州海关获悉，今年前10个月，郑州海关共监管中欧班列（郑州）828班，货运量40万吨，同比分别增长44.3%、41.5%。

In August, the Zhengzhou-Europe International Block Train from Zhengzhou to Moscow started operation, which becomes a new line to Europe after the regular operation of the lines between Zhengzhou to Hamburg, Munich and Liege. Up to now, 6 exit-entry ports (Alataw Pass, Erenhot, Horgos, Pingxiang, Suifen River and Manchuria) have been opened to ensure a balanced operation of the China Railway Express between Zhengzhou and Europe.

今年8月份，中欧班列（郑州）开通郑州—莫斯科出口线路，这是中欧班列（郑州）继郑州—汉堡、郑州—慕尼黑、郑州—列日路线常态化运营后，开通的又一条新的欧洲路线。目前，中欧班列（郑州）进出境口岸已达6个（阿拉山口、二连浩特、霍尔果斯、凭祥、绥芬河、满洲里），并始终保持往返均衡对开。

For import, dairy products (milk, yogurt, etc.) from Belarus, France and Poland are very popular in Henan. In the first 10 months, 149 batches of dairy products weighing 2,550 tons were imported through the Zhengzhou-Europe International Block Trains, up 41 percent and 43 percent year-on-year respectively.

在进口商品方面，来自白俄罗斯、法国、波兰等地的乳制品（牛奶、酸奶等）很受河南省人民的青睐，前10个月，通过中欧班列（郑州）进口的乳制品共有149批，重2550吨，同比分别增长41%、43%。

In addition, the machinery products (mold, die-cutting machine, conveyor, etc.) of our country also enjoys a broad market in the countries along the lines. In the first 10 months, 71 thousand tons of machinery products (mold, die-cutting machine, conveyor, etc.) with a value of 6.37 billion yuan were exported through the Zhengzhou-Europe International Block Trains, mainly to Germany and Central Asia.

同时，我国出口的机械类（模具、模切机、输送机等）商品也越来越受到沿线各国的欢迎。前10个月，通过中欧班列（郑州）出口的机械类（模具、模切机、输送机）商品货值63.7亿元，重7.1万吨，同比分别增长83.2%、11.8%，主要出口至德国、中亚等地。

To ensure a smooth operation of the Zhengzhou-Europe International Block Train, Zhengzhou Customs has improved the business environment of the railway ports, reducing clearance time for import and export by 37.54 percent and 91.74 percent respectively.

为保障中欧班列（郑州）运行顺畅，郑州海关持续优化铁路口岸营商环境，进口环节通关时间累计压缩37.54%，出口环节通关时间累计压缩91.74%。（记者吴军 实习生王嘉兆 编译赵汉青 审校李文竞）
