National Multimodal Transport Demonstration Project Launched in Henan, Publicizing the Advanced Experience of Zhengzhou-Europe International Block Train in China

国家多式联运示范工程“花落”河南中欧班列（郑州）经验全国推广

News from Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Co., Ltd (ZIH) on November 8 shows that the demonstration project of the sea-rail-road multimodal transport featuring “one line with three branches”, undertaken by ZIH, passed the acceptance inspection and was officially designated as the “National Multimodal Transport Demonstration Project” by the Ministry of Transport and the National Development and Reform Commission.

12月8日，记者从郑州国际陆港开发建设有限公司获悉，由该公司承建的郑欧国际货运班列“一干三支”铁海公多式联运示范工程，顺利通过验收，并被交通运输部、国家发改委正式命名为“国家多式联运示范工程”。

Since 2016, the construction of national multimodal transport demonstration project has been carried out nationwide and the list of the first 16 projects has been determined, on which the sea-rail-road multimodal transport featuring “one line with three branches” of Zhengzhou-Europe International Block Train is included.

2016年开始，多式联运示范工程建设工作在全国范围铺开，并确定了首批16个工程项目名单，郑欧国际货运班列“一干三支”铁海公多式联运示范工程入选。

This project mainly refers to the rail-road or sea-rail-road combined transport projects based on land-bridge channel, Lanzhou-Lianyungang channel, Beijing-Guangzhou channel and Zhengzhou-Japan-Korea channel. With more than three-year efforts, the Zhengzhou-Europe International Block Train has topped among all China-Europe trains in terms of comprehensive operation capacity, and the logistics hub “connecting China and abroad, to radiate east, middle and west of China” has been formed, strongly pushing forward the coordinated development of the Aerial, Land, Maritime and Online Silk Roads in Henan province, vigorously boosting the construction of Henan into an inland open highland. By the end of November, the Zhengzhou-Europe International Block Train has made 906 trips. Altogether, there are 2,666 trips with a total accumulative value of 13.205 billion tons and 11.495 billion dollars.

该工程主要是指依靠陆桥大通道和陇海通道、京广通道、郑日韩通道所开展的以公铁、铁海公为主要方式的联运项目。经过三年多的努力，中欧班列（郑州）在全国中欧班列中的综合运营能力名列前茅，“连通境内外、辐射东中西”的物流通道枢纽建设取得显著成效，有力地推动了河南空中、陆上、海上、网上丝绸之路“四路协同”发展和内陆开放高地建设。截至11月底，中欧班列（郑州）已开行906班，累计开行2666班、货重132.05万吨、货值114.95亿美元。

It is reported that ZIH is focusing on the integration of trade and transport based on the business network of Zhengzhou-Europe International Block Train throughout Europe, central Asia and other regions in the world to promote logistics by trade. Relevant ministries and commissions of China have taken the development experience and operation mode of Zhengzhou-Europe International Block Train, “trade-transport integration”, as a typical example and publicized it among all China-Europe trains.

据介绍，郑州国际陆港依托中欧班列（郑州）遍布欧洲、中亚等地区的业务网络，发展运贸一体化，以贸易促进物流发展。国家相关部委将中欧班列（郑州）的“运贸一体化”发展经验和运营模式作为典型，在全国中欧班列中进行推广。（记者王延辉编译赵汉青审校白玉杰）
