Loving Henan Warms People’s Heart, 572 Stranded Travelers Returning Home

“大爱河南”温暖“空中来客” 572名留观旅客陆续踏上回家之路

True friendship stands out in difficult times. On February 9, the last traveler from the NCP-stricken area was successfully removed from medical observation and left Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone for home. Up to now, the 572 travelers, who were under medical observation at Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, have already been on their way home.

“疫”中见真情。2月9日，郑州航空港经济综合实验区送别了最后一位来自疫情高发区的集中隔离医学观察者。至此，572名留观旅客陆续踏上“归程”。

Where my heart settles, where my home is. With professional medical observation and careful daily service at Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, the travelers here were deeply moved.

“此心安处是吾乡”。一个个“空中来客”留在了郑州航空港区，接受专业的医学观察和精心的生活服务，他们的心也被河南的爱温暖了。

“During the emergency period, my family and I owe you all a handshake and a hug. When the epidemic is over, you are the first people we want to see.” South African Chinese Ye Xianming specially wrote Zhengzhou Aviation Port Area a letter to express his gratitude.

“非常时期，我和家人欠你们各位一次握手、一次拥抱。等疫情结束后，你们是我们最想见的人。”南非华人叶先明专门致信郑州航空港区，满怀感激之情。

Mr. Ye is a senior lecturer at Department of Electrical Engineering of Pretoria University, South Africa. He scheduled to fly to South Africa with his family from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport on January 25. Since Ye Xianming and his family had been to Wuhan before, they were isolated for further medical observation for 14 days at Zhengzhou Aviation Port Area.

叶先明是南非比勒陀利亚大学电气工程系高级讲师。1月25日，他和家人在郑州新郑国际机场准备乘机前往南非。由于此前有旅居武汉的经历，叶先明和家人来到郑州航空港鑫港假日酒店进行为期14天的隔离观察。

“My family was depressed because of the little kids and supplies shortage.” Ye Xianming said, during the harsh times, the staff at Zhengzhou Aviation Port Area provided meticulous help for his family, taking care of the two kids, purchasing daily supplies, checking temperature for them three times a day and making a detailed record, and arranging special staff to collect garbage every day, etc.

“由于孩子小，且出行物资缺乏，家人曾一度情绪低落。”叶先明说，在最困难的时候，郑州航空港区的工作人员为他们一家人提供了无微不至的帮助，细心照顾两个小孩，采购生活物资，坚持每天三次为隔离者测体温并作详细记录，每天有专门的工作人员收集生活垃圾等。

The loving Henan warms each traveler.

这样的温暖被一个个“空中来客”所感知。

“Zhengzhou is really ‘warm-hearted’. If there is a short of supplies, just tell the staff and they will bring what you need to you with patience and care.” Chen Chen from Wuhan said, “It was my first visit to Zhengzhou. During the special period, I could touch the great love and enthusiasm of Henan province. I love this city.”

“郑州真的很‘暖’，工作人员耐心、细心，缺什么一说就会补上。”武汉旅客陈晨说，“以前没有来过郑州，这是第一次来，非常时期，更能感受到河南的大爱和热心，我喜欢上了这座城市。”

“We thought that we would be despised in a strange place, but the fact is that we were welcomed with hospitality and patience…” Ouyang Qi and his wife from Wuhan, said gratefully, “Although we were in a strange place, we were treated warmly.”

“本以为在外地会遭受白眼，却没有想到这里热情又耐心地接待了我们……”来自武汉的欧阳祺夫妇感激地说，“我们虽在异地，但倍感温暖。”
