Traffic Police Motorcades Escort the First Batch of Henan Medics Back

河南高速交警最高礼仪护航我省首批支援湖北医疗队凯旋

Hero medics returned safe protecting the country and people. Around noon on March 26, the first medical assistance team consisting of 137 medics from Henan returned home with honor after two months of anti-epidemic fight in Wuhan.

After boarding returning buses, they were escorted by motorcades comprised of Henan provincial public security expressway traffic police corps with the highest homage, deepest respect, best image, smoothest traffic and safest protection.

河南省公安厅高速交警总队组织沿线高速交警全程接力护航，以“最高的礼遇、最深的敬意、最佳的形象、最顺畅的通行、最安全的保障”护航河南支援湖北医疗队回家。

Left home in winter; came back in spring

出征寒冬，归时春风

137 medical professionals (aged less than 40 on average) of the first Henan medical team have been sent to assist Wuhan since January 26 (second day of the Chinese lunar new year). At the Fourth Hospital of Wuhan, they worked nonstop for 60 days to save the lives of patients infected by coronavirus.

河南省首批支援湖北医疗队1月26日（大年初二）出征武汉，进驻武汉市第四医院，共137人，平均年龄不足40岁，都是各科室的业务骨干。他们在武汉战疫前线奋战了整整60天，圆满完成了救治任务。

“You medics from Henan treat me like your own flesh and blood. You are more considerate of me than my daughter is. When I recover, I’d like to pay a visit to the Shaolin Temple and you. Give our fighters a thumbs-up.” Mr. Ye, nearly 80 years old, said affectionately.

一位年近80岁的叶师傅感动地说：“你们河南医疗队医务人员对我像对自己家人一样好，照顾得比我闺女还细心周到。等我好了去看少林寺，也去看看你们，为我们医者仁心的白衣勇士点赞。”

Escorted with the highest homage

接力护送，最高礼遇护航

Around 13 o’clock on the same day, escorted by the motorcade sent by the 6th team of the Expressway Traffic Police Corps, the buses carrying the returning medics entered the Lianyungang-Khorgos Expressway. Traffic policemen from the 2nd, 6th, 8th and 10th teams stood in a straight line to salute the returning fighters at Zhengzhou’s Liulin checkpoint. In addition, welcome slogans were shown on all the electronic display screens along the road such as “Henan Expressway Traffic Police Administrative Department Welcomes Epidemic Fighters Back” and “Pay Tribute to Anti-epidemic Heroes”.

13时许，高速交警总队六支队警车开道护航车队从连霍高速郑州柳林站上高速，二、六、八、十支队的高速交警在站口一字排开，列队向凯旋白衣勇士致敬。同时在高速公路沿线全部电子显示屏上打上“河南高速交警路政欢迎援鄂白衣勇士凯旋”“向援鄂战疫英雄致敬”等欢迎致敬标语。

It is reported that the buses leaving for Kaifeng escorted by the 5th and 6th teams were relayed by local police along the Lianyungang-Khorgos Highway, while the buses for Xinxiang escorted by the 3rd and 8th teams were relayed by local police along the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway off the Lianyungang-Khorgos one.
