Henan-based Central Airlines Approved for Air Freight Services

河南省首家主基地货航获准运营 中州航空腾飞启航

News from Central Airlines Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the “Central Airlines”) on April 27 -- CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration issued the Central Airlines Co., Ltd with its operation qualification certificate on April 26. With this certification, Central Airlines is authorized to conduct air cargo services, a milestone in Henan’s efforts to build an international air freight hub.

4月27日，记者从中州航空有限责任公司（以下简称“中州航空”）获悉，4月26日，民航中南地区管理局向中州航空有限责任公司颁发了运行合格证，这标志着中州航空已经具备了正式运营的资格和条件，这是我省打造国际航空货运枢纽的一个里程碑。

The Central Airlines, based in Central China’s Henan province, is the first cargo airline taking Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport as its main operation base. The Central Airlines finished industrial and commercial registration in June 2016, gained approval for establishment on February 26, 2019, and obtained the operating licence for public air transport enterprise on January 3, 2020 and airlines operation qualification certificate on April 26.

作为诞生于河南本土的航空公司，中州航空是首家以郑州新郑国际机场为主运营基地的货运航空公司。中州航空于2016年6月完成工商注册；2019年2月26日获批筹建；2020年1月3日获得公共航空运输企业经营许可证，4月26日获得航空承运人运行合格证。

In March this year, the State Council executive meeting laid out plans to further improve China’s international air freight capacity and made it clear that it would encourage the increase of air freighters and develop all-cargo transport. Founded in this context, the Central Airlines is also the only newly-established cargo airline during the COVID-19 pandemic. Its operation will further improve Henan’s air freight capacity, stabilize supply chains and enhance air cargo service network, so as to promote the “Aerial Silk Road” and strengthen the logistics competitiveness.

今年3月，国务院常务会议部署进一步提升我国国际航空货运能力，明确指出要鼓励增加货机，发展全货机运输。中州航空在此背景下获批成立，同时也是唯一的在疫情防控期间新成立的运输航空公司，开航运营后，将进一步提升我省航空货运能力，稳定供应链，完善航空货运枢纽网络，助力“空中丝绸之路”建设，增强我省物流行业竞争力。

Obtaining airline operation certificate was just the first step of the Central Airlines. Approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Central Airlines are introducing 3 B737F air freighters, the first of which has arrived at the Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport. Now, more than 150 professionals specialized in flight, maintenance, dispatching and transportation have been enrolled in the Central Airlines.

取得航空承运人运行合格证，对中州航空而言只是刚刚起步。目前，中州航空已获国家发展改革委批准，引进3架B737F运输飞机，首架货机已抵达基地郑州新郑国际机场，现已引进飞行、维修、签派和运输等专业技术人员150余人。（记者 宋敏 编译 赵汉青 审校 张玉红）
