“What I drew is that there are many viruses on the earth that have badly infected human beings, and people are united in the fight against the pandemic. I hope we can defeat the pandemic as soon as possible.” On June 7, an exhibition of anti-pandemic pictures drawn by children at home and abroad was launched both online and offline at Henan Art Museum. Zhang Shiyuan, a fourth grader, was vividly introducing her picture at the exhibition.

“我画的是地球上有很多病毒，传染给了人类，人们万众一心抗击疫情，打败病毒，我希望能早日战胜疫情。”6月7日，2020国际儿童抗疫绘画艺术作品展线下展暨线上推出仪式在河南省美术馆举办，来自纬五路第二小学的四年级学生张诗媛绘声绘色地向大河网记者介绍她的作品。

It is reported that the exhibition was co-organized by Foreign Affairs Office of Henan Provincial People’s Government, Henan Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Henan Art Museum and “Oriental Home” in Serbia, and co-sponsored by Austria-China Friendship Association, Russia-China Chamber of Commerce and Henan Association of Canada.

据介绍，“2020国际儿童抗疫绘画艺术作品展”由河南省人民政府外事办公室、河南省人民对外友好协会、河南省美术馆、塞尔维亚“东方之家”协会联合主办，奥地利中国友好协会、俄罗斯中国总商会、加拿大河南同乡会共同协办。

“Recording anti-pandemic stories from the children’s perspective, the activity aims to depict a better future life, promote humanism, and support the global fight against the pandemic.” According to Foreign Affairs Office of Henan Provincial People’s Government, through the activity, children will not only feel the joy and happiness of living in our great motherland and cherish the favorable environment created by our nation, but also realize the responsibility and duty behind the great care and love. Besides, at a crucial moment when the pandemic spreads globally, the activity will not only strengthen Henan’s partnership with the world and enhance their cohesion, but also provide the children with the first-hand experience to understand the building of a community with a shared future for mankind and set up a bridge for mutual exchange and communication of the teenagers at home and abroad.

“此次活动是以儿童视角记录抗疫故事，描绘美好生活，弘扬人文主义，助力全球抗疫。”河南省人民政府外事办公室相关负责人介绍，活动不仅引领孩子们感受生活在伟大祖国怀抱中的幸福与快乐，珍惜祖国创造的良好成长环境，体会爱与守护的责任担当，更在国际疫情蔓延的特殊时期，密切河南省与境外友好组织的友好合作关系，增强国际凝聚力，让孩子们切身体会到人类命运共同体的深刻内涵，为中外青少年铺就心灵相通之路，搭建民心相通之桥。

More than 240 pictures have been received so far. Apart from No. 2 Primary School of Weiwu Road (Zhengzhou City), Wangyingcun Primary School of Shangcai County (Zhumadian City) and a local art institution, the pictures were also collected from 10 foreign countries, such as Serbia, Austria, Russia, Canada, Germany, etc.

据悉，活动共收到来自河南省郑州市纬五路第二小学、驻马店市上蔡县王营村小学、莹色童年美术教育机构及塞尔维亚、奥地利、俄罗斯、加拿大、德国等10个国家共计240余幅绘画作品。

All the works will be shown on the official website and public WeChat of Foreign Affairs Office of Henan Provincial People’s Government, the public WeChat of Henan Art Museum, the official website of “Oriental Home” in Serbia as well as the official website of Belgrade Children’s Activity Center, and some outstanding ones will be exhibited at Henan Art Museum.

所有绘画作品将在河南省人民政府外事办公室官方网站、微信公众号、河南省美术馆微信公众号、塞尔维亚“东方之家”协会官方网站、塞尔维亚贝尔格莱德儿童活动中心官方网站进行推送展播，部分优秀作品在河南省美术馆进行线下展览。（记者/刘杨 翻译/赵汉青 审校/白玉杰）
