China Launches Its First Electric Tractor Powered by 5G Tech + Hydrogen Fuel

China’s first electric tractor powered by 5G tech and hydrogen fuel, sponsored by the National Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Innovation Center and researched by the Tianjin Research Institute for Advanced Equipment of Tsinghua University, was officially launched in Henan's Luoyang city, said the National Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Innovation Center on June16.

6月16日，记者从国家农机装备创新中心获悉，由国家农机装备创新中心牵头发起，清华大学天津高端装备研究院洛阳先进制造产业研发基地联合打造的中国首台5G+氢燃料电动拖拉机于洛阳正式发布。

With gorgeous design and futuristic tech, such as mushroom-shaped GPS antenna, shark-type “breathing” signal light, hidden stainless steel shell, millimeter-wave radar, cloud platform based on big data, etc., “Super Tractor I” received widespread praise from all walks of life as it debuted in 2018, which has changed people’s original impressions on the tractors in old times for their featureless design and cumbersome operation.

Based on the technology of “Super Tractor I”, China’s first electric tractor powered by 5G tech and hydrogen fuel (ET504-H) has developed into an unmanned electric tractor equipped with 5G tech and fueled by hydrogen power.

中国首台5G+氢燃料电动拖拉机（ET504-H）是在“超级拖拉机I号”基础上，中国首台基于5G，以氢燃料电池为动力的无人驾驶电动拖拉机。

Taking “informative perception, quantitative decision and targeted investment” as a goal for intelligent agricultural machinery, a standard framework is planned to formulate for next-generation agricultural machinery through innovation.

通过强化农机装备电气化、无人化、网联化科技创新，以“信息感知、定量决策、精准投入”的智能农机为目标，构建新一代农机装备开放标准架构。顺应农机环保发展的趋势，旨在进行氢能源在农机上应用的探索开发，实现我国农机工业的跨越发展。

　　

What will “Super Tractor I” powered by hydrogen fuel and equipped with 5G tech bring about?

当“超级拖拉机I号”，以氢燃料电池作为动力，并搭载5G移动通信技术，将产生什么神奇反应？

The answer is:

First, with hydrogen power technology and intelligent vehicle control system, its power supply is optimized. Independently powered by fuel cell and mixed fueled by fuel cell and lithium cell, its battery life extends beyond “Super Tractor I”.　

1、多年丰富的氢能源技术，装载智能整车控制系统，优化供电匹配，轻载燃料电池独立供电，重载燃料电池、锂电池混合供电，比“超级拖拉机I号”更加超长续航。

Second, compared with the two-hour charge of “Super Tractor I”, it only takes 3 minutes for the new tractor to refill the hydrogen power, lasting 24 working hours, which is faster, cleaner and more energy efficient.　　

2、与“超级拖拉机I号”充电两小时相比，它只需要3分钟就可以加氢完毕。24小时待命，随时可以继续工作，更快速、更清洁、更节能。

Third, characterized by high speed, low delay and broad connection, the new tractor equipped with 5G tech can test the running state and surrounding environment of the vehicle in real time.
