An Online Videoconference Held by Henan on Henan-Russia Cooperation in Post-pandemic Era

云端连线 共议合作！河南举行豫俄合作视频交流会

In the post-pandemic era, what new type of cooperation will Henan and Russia have for mutual benefit? On the afternoon of July 7, co-organized by the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee, Henan Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Russia-China Chamber of Commerce, an online videoconference on Henan-Russia cooperation was held at the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee, which provides an opportunity for communication among Henan and Russian representatives.

大河网讯 后疫情时代，河南与俄罗斯有哪些新的合作方式？7月7日下午，由河南省委外办、河南省对外友协联合俄罗斯中国总商会共同举办的一场特别跨国交流会——豫俄合作视频交流会——在河南省委外办拉开帷幕，豫俄双方代表通过屏幕“隔空”对话。

According to Fu Jing, director-general of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee and head of Henan Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Henan has enjoyed vibrant people-to-people ties with good and blossoming exchanges and cooperation in many fields, such as trade, culture, education and tourism, with Samara Oblast, Astrakhan Oblast, Kostroma Oblast, Irkutsk Oblast, Saint Petersburg, etc., and an exchange framework of multi-level and all-dimension has been formed based on the cooperation among provinces (oblasts), cities and enterprises of both sides.

据河南省委外办主任、河南省对外友协会长付静介绍，河南与俄罗斯萨马拉州、阿斯特拉罕州、科斯特罗马州、伊尔库茨克州、圣彼得堡市等地交往密切，在经贸、文化、教育、旅游等多领域合作取得了一些可喜成绩，形成了从省州政府到所辖城市及企业间全方位、多层次的交往格局。

At the conference, Zhengzhou University and Henan University respectively exchanged with Russia’s State Sports University and Southern Federation University in terms of project cooperation. Over 10 enterprises across the province, including China Eleventh Chemical Construction Company Limited, Zhengzhou Coal Mining Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd, Henan Pingmei Shenma Fareast Chemical Co., Ltd etc., participated in the videoconference, some of which exchanged views with the Chinese Embassy in Russia and the Russia-China Chamber of Commerce on investment and cooperation in Russia.

现场，郑州大学、河南大学分别与俄罗斯国立体育大学、俄罗斯南联邦大学作了项目探讨；中国化学工程第十一建设有限公司、郑州煤矿机械集团股份有限公司、河南平煤神马远东化工有限公司等10余家省内企业参与视频活动，部分企业就在俄投资、合作有关问题与中国驻俄使馆、俄罗斯中国总商会作了交流发言。

In addition, for common prosperity, Henan Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries also signed friendly cooperation agreement with Russia-China Chamber of Commerce and Association of Businessmen of the Central County of China (ABCCR) to seek further bilateral exchanges and cooperation in economy, trade, sci-tech, culture, education, hygiene, tourism, talent, etc.

会上，河南省人民对外友好协会还分别与俄罗斯中国总商会、俄罗斯中国中原商会签订了友好合作协议书，以继续推动河南省和俄罗斯在经济、贸易、科技、文化、教育、卫生、旅游、人才等方面开展多种形式的交流与合作，促进共同繁荣。（中文来源/大河网 记者/刘杨 编译/赵汉青 实习生/朱清远 审校/焦丹）
