130 New Energy Buses Made in Henan Exported to Mexico

130台“河南造”新能源客车驶入墨西哥

 

News from Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Yutong Group”) on July 15 -- 130 dual-powered trolleybuses made in Henan were recently sent to Mexico, including 80 12-meter versions and 50 18-meter ones. As the world’s largest order for dual-powered trolleybuses in recent years, it was also the first time for China’s bus industry to export 18-meter dual-powered trolleybuses overseas, marking a new era for China’s bus exports.

大河网讯 7月15日，记者从郑州宇通客车股份有限公司获悉，该公司出口至墨西哥的130辆双源无轨电车近日已发往墨西哥，其中包括80辆12米双源无轨电车和50辆18米双源无轨电车。该订单是近年来全球最大批量的双源无轨电车订单。这也是中国客车行业18米双源无轨电车首次出口海外，开创了中国客车出口的新纪元。

Featured by environmental protection, large carrying capacity and high efficiency, this batch of new energy buses will improve the current situation of the public transport vehicles in Mexico City, the capital of Mexico, and effectively ease its urban air pollution and traffic congestion.

此批车辆将以绿色环保和大运量、高效率特点，有效改善墨西哥首都墨西哥城城市公共交通车辆老旧的状态，有力缓解城市空气污染和交通拥堵。

 

It is reported that Yutong exported 63 dual-powered trolleybuses to Mexico City in 2019 for the first time, marking the first step of Mexico’s reform towards a green and environmentally friendly public transport system. Nowadays, these 63 12-meter dual-powered trolleybuses have been put into operation in Mexico City for over 5 months. The buses’ performance and the group’s after-sales service have been highly recognized by the local government, customers and citizens, laying a solid foundation for this order. This time, Mexico not only introduced 50 18-meter dual-powered trolleybuses for the first time, but also set a record for global bulk purchase. It will set a benchmark for the update and promotion of dual-powered trolleybuses in Latin America and even the whole world, and further promote the sense of green commuting.

据悉，2019年，首辆宇通双源无轨电车抵达墨西哥城，掀开了墨西哥绿色环保交通改革的第一页。如今，63辆宇通12米双源无轨电车已在墨西哥城投入运营5个多月，产品的性能及宇通的售后服务得到了当地政府、客户以及市民的高度认可，为宇通获得此次订单奠定了坚实基础。此次墨西哥首开先河引入18米双源无轨电车，并创下全球批量采购之最，将为双源无轨电车在拉美乃至全球的更新推广树立标杆，从而进一步推动全球电动化绿色出行。

According to the group, the programme of “Research and Industrialization of Yutong Dual-powered Trolleybuses” was listed in the National Science and Technology Plan by the Ministry of Science and Technology as early as 2015. It suggests the future direction of China’s dual-powered trolleybus, and the manufacturing level of world's leading new energy bus.

早在2015年，“宇通双源快充纯电动公交客车开发及产业化”项目就被科技部列入国家科技支撑计划，它代表了我国双源无轨电车发展的方向，同时也代表了全球领先的新能源客车技术水平。

 

In recent years, Yutong new energy buses have maintained a high market share in Latin America and even the global market by virtue of its product quality and precise market strategy of “one policy for one country”. Customs data shows that by the end of April 2020, more than 23 thousand Yutong buses have been exported to the American market, accounting for more than 53 percent of the total export volume of China’s large and medium-sized buses, which has made it the largest Chinese bus brand in Latin America. In the global market, the number has reached 73 thousand in total, covering many countries like Britain, France and Russia.

近年来，在拉美乃至全球市场，凭借产品品质和“一国一策”精准市场策略，宇通客车保持着较高的市场保有量。海关数据显示，截至2020年4月底，宇通客车在美洲区市场的总出口量已超过2.3万辆，在中国大中型客车出口总量中占比超过53%，成为拉美地区第一大中国客车品牌；在全球市场，宇通累计出口客车7.3万辆，产品批量远销至英国、法国、俄罗斯等多个国家。（中文来源/河南日报 翻译/赵汉青 审校/李文竞）
