Henan’s Economy Maintains Steady Recovery in July

7月份经济数据出炉 河南经济稳步恢复

 

According to the “Economic Performance of Henan Province in July” released by Henan Statistics Bureau on August 18, Henan’s economy maintained a steady growth momentum with improved balance between supply and demand, as well as the generally stable employment and prices.

8月18日，河南省统计局发布“7月份全省经济运行情况”。从发布内容来看，全省供给需求继续改善，就业物价总体平稳，经济运行保持稳步恢复态势。

In July, the added value of the industrial enterprises above designated size across the province decreased by 1.0 percent year-on-year. In terms of economic types, the added value of the State-owned enterprises and the enterprises with Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and foreign funds respectively saw a year-on-year increase of 4.7 percent and 2.1 percent, while that of joint-stock enterprises experienced a year-on-year decrease of 1.0 percent. In terms of three categories, the added value of manufacturing industry and industries related to electricity, thermal power, gas and water production and supply separately declined by 1.1 percent and 5.9 percent year-on-year, while the mining industry increased by 5.1 percent year-on-year. Besides, the added value of high-tech industry and electronic information industry respectively witnessed a year-on-year growth of 4.5 percent (5.5 percentage points higher than that of the industrial enterprises above designated size) and 8.6 percent (9.6 percentage points higher than that of the industrial enterprises above designated size). Regarding product output, the production of medical masks and fermentation alcohol of the industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 13.5 times and 79.5 percent separately, while that of optoelectronic devices, ultra clear glass for the solar industry and lithium-ion batteries up 12.5 times, 40.1 percent and 28.1 percent year-on-year.

数据显示，7月份，全省规模以上工业增加值同比下降1.0%。分经济类型看，国有控股企业增加值增长4.7%，股份制企业下降1.0%，外商及港澳台商投资企业增长2.1%。分三大门类看，采矿业增加值增长5.1%，制造业下降1.1%，电力、热力、燃气及水生产和供应业下降5.9%。高技术产业增加值增长4.5%，电子信息产业增加值增长8.6%，分别高于规上工业5.5、9.6个百分点。从产品产量看，规模以上工业企业的医用口罩产量增长13.5倍，发酵酒精增长79.5%；光电子器件产量增长12.5倍，太阳能工业用超白玻璃增长40.1%，锂离子电池增长28.1%。

In July, the total retail sales of consumer goods in Henan reported a year-on-year decrease of 1.0 percent to 178.946 billion yuan and a year-on-year CPI increase of 2.9 percent. Specifically, the CPI in urban and rural areas registered a year-on-year growth of 2.4 percent and 3.7 percent. In terms of its major groups, the cost of food and beverage, education and recreation, medical care rose respectively by 10.1, 0.3, 3.4 percent year-on-year, while that of apparel, housing, articles and services for daily use, transportation and communication declined respectively by 1.6, 0.8, 0.4 and 4.6 percent. In July, Henan’s CPI grew by 0.6 percent month-on-month. From January to July, the provincial CPI rose by 3.9 percent year-on-year. In July, Henan’s PPI declined by 1.3 percent year-on-year, but increased by 0.7 percent month-on-month. Its IPI decreased by 1.8 percent year-on-year, but grew by 0.6 percent month-on-month. Generally speaking, Henan’s economy maintained a steady growth momentum in July.

7月份，全省社会消费品零售总额1789.46亿元，同比下降1.0%。全省居民消费价格同比上涨2.9%。其中，城市上涨2.4%，农村上涨3.7%。分类别看，食品烟酒价格上涨10.1%，衣着下降1.6%，居住下降0.8%，生活用品及服务下降0.4%，交通和通信下降4.6%，教育文化和娱乐上涨0.3%，医疗保健上涨3.4%。7月份，全省居民消费价格环比上涨0.6%。1~7月，全省居民消费价格同比上涨3.9%。7月份，全省工业生产者出厂价格同比下降1.3%，环比上涨0.7%；工业生产者购进价格同比下降1.8%，环比上涨0.6%。总体来看，我省经济运行保持稳步恢复态势。（中文来源/大河报 翻译/赵汉青 审校/焦丹）
